While I don't surf, I've been going to Gilgo for as long as I can remember. I don't get there as often as I once did {work ,family etc...} but I still manage a few times during the summer. It's just a great place to be . After enjoying the beach , the Gilgo Beach Inn is a good place to hang out, have a beer and listen to a live band - usually on Sunday afternoons. Long live summer !
