I own a Sansung Galaxy S2 GT-i9100 and I was hoping to buy a SanDisk Memory Card MicroSDHC 8GB class 4... Is my phone compatible..... Please reply soon as the internal memory is running out and I have to buy it ASAP...Thanks
I am 63 and just purchased this phone after my N95 and trying to get to grips with it and the fiddly bits. For a young man you have done a really proffesional tuturiol and took the trouble to make things in focus and took your time explaining. I was dreading fitting my Micro SD Card but just followed your instructions and as you guys say cool. Will be looking for more of yours. Thank You Keep it up and well done son. Take care Chester
@lukey529 Thank You very much for your kind remark. It's the kind of audience like yourself, whom I try to reach and help. It's also your remarks that make me try harder and present more for the public. Thank You again and Regards, David.
@MegaBangku Hi, if it is a MICRO SD or MICRO SDHC card, then yes, otherwise sorry, you can't. SD cards (used in cameras for example) are too big for your phone.
Well I already know how to install and Micro SD card, but my question is: can I install a Micro SDHC in a smartphone (I have a Huawei Ideos x1) when I have just a Micro SD one? I see in the stores sites and they say that the Micro SDHC aren't compatible with most electronic devices.
I'm still thinking about to buy a Micro SDHC card so I hope if it works, thanks in advance.
@hanzou Hi, as far as i know, Micro SD and Micro SDHC have the same form-factor, and can be used in each others' devices. Since your phone supports Micro SD cards, I am assuming it also takes SDHC cards. However, no guarantee on that. Maybe post it on an electronics forum or do some research. Cheers
