I spent like 45 minutes trying to figure out how to hit this boss. You have to hold left trigger AND right trigger. I think; you'll know you've pushed the right buttons when you see one yellow circle for every rocket you've got. Wait till they turn red then fire away.

If you just hit the fire button, no matter how perfect your aim is, the rockets will actively curve AWAY from the helicopter.

ok got it... once you have the rocket launcher, press the right stick and then hold the RT button pointing at the helicopter until you get the green lights, and when you get the red light.... bang!!

You need to kill the polycraft before you can shoot the buraq again.

when you get your grenade launcher i fired 3 shots at once 2 of them fly away because of flares but the 3rd always hits

When the polycraft come then you have to kill them before you can lock onto the boss, if it's not that then just hold in the shooting button and make sure you're close enough to it.

Did you get the Tarantula rocket launcher? If so you just need to get closer to the Buraq and the light will appear.
