Keep at it man, could definitely use some work, the Chores isn't played on 8th notes but quarter note open Hi-Hat beats or crash, it really doesn't matter hopefully you know what I mean with 7 years :P but yeah just listen to it a few more times.

Overall good work, and don't be afraid to try to improvise your covers when your practicing them, sometimes it helps you learn the technique faster then trying to learn a static way to play, it helps you be more creative and improve faster.
