I do not admit the possibility of god, the implications for the existence of one is too horrendous for me to fathom.
Science hasn't accounted for everything, but to say that it won't and that a Magical basis for the rest should be assumed is to discount the rational answers that science has provided thus far. So I have to give the benefit of the doubt to science and looking at its past work say that it will work for the rest.
No no no! My point wasn't to persuade you to believe in magic, but higher forces outside of our understanding. I think nature is still a higher force outside of our understanding, considering there's still much we don't know about it.
Don't you think it's a bit arrogant to say that one day we'll be able to explain everything?
I think it'd be more arrogant to say that one day we won't be able to explain everything and put a bound on our boundless future.
Personally, I think that nothing is outside the realm of our understanding, not even nature. And while you may see sadness in the death of the "mystique," I see the greatness and grandeur in accumulating and applying knowledge.
Lets face it, we're not even a Type I Civilization on the Kardashev scale, so who knows what our future holds! :D
Make Love is a related video. Hmph. Thought you'd enjoy that. Mhm.
