Kurt Cobain wrote this song based on the German novel Perfume about a perfume apprentice who has no body odor but has a keen sense of smell who goes around killing virgin women in search of the perfect female scent. Apparently it was one of his favorite novels. Flipper covered it way later when they got back together. Cobain was a huge Flipper fan and regularly wore hand-made Flipper shirts.

Krist isn't in it, Krist was in flipper in 2006-2008 and toured with them a little and played in Flippers new album "Love" coming out May 19th.

This was recorded in 2000 for a Nirvana tribute album called "Smells Like Bleach", Flipper along wit many other bands covered Nirvana songs.

The only album Krit is in will be Love, and Fight, fight being a live album released the same day as the studio album Love.

From what I have heard from both albums so far,(only a couple songs) Flipper is heading in a new direction, the new songs sounding cleaner but definitaly not polished, and a little Grunge-eyer

Gone Fishin' is like any other Flipper album(Besides the new ones), Same old FLipper style but I love it.

Fippers hard to like, they are definitaly one of those bands im "in to"
