I've actually used Blender quite a bit. I started back when it was at version .75. I still have a lot of work (I did for fun) sitting on an idle HD I think is about to fail - I need to see if I can copy it off some day before it's too late. What I haven't done is use Blender too much recently. It has become an amazing tool with all the continued development. I still enjoy seeing what other people do with it though.
The pistons can go straight up and down like they are. This configuration is a straight 4. If the pistons are at 45 deg it would make it a V4 which is rare. Very cool. I have always wanted to do this constraints.

Thanks, though I totally realized the animation is wrong. The pistons should be at an angle (45 degrees I think) Instead of going straight up. xD
You should try blender3ding. Following some of agent47cows tutorials and have some fun.
