Even though it was out of tune like a mutha I found it to be great! it kind of added to the graphics. That feeling of confusion and chaos... I give a thumbs up. If the out of tune thing was an accident I think it worked for the best. It could definetely be used in the sound track of the next Psycho sequel. But what do I know right?
Your remix is probably the most original out there but please please please take my advice: NEVER use that heavy dance beat unless you filter it, phase it, ping pong it from left to right speaker, or squeeze in some more random percussive patterns.
@johannjvkp Yes, kick and bass mostly stay in the center, but Depeche Mode were masters at layering, substituting different percussive sounds, leaving random spaces, etc. so that it wasn't so repetative. I realize this is a skill that takes years and years to hone. Anytime you can draw attention away from those generic kick snare "four on the floor" sections, you make yourself better than the other 99%. Keep up the good work.
@ajdicks Yep, Depeche Mode are one of the masters of bending the rules, I agree with you 100% - art should have no boundaries but (sorry for the caveat, hehe) one should know the lines and then blast them off to something excellent =)
at :22 it looks like a video game i used to play about a spy trying to escape from a building and he had to shoot the other spys take elevators or shimmy through windows...i cant think of the name atm

@ajdicks I agree with percs but moving the bass kick around makes the drive off, no? Kick needs to stay center, my opinion anyway.
