  • Poor people of South Korea, oppressed by U.S. imperialism... one day they will see the light.

  • A lot of the images you see of North Korea (The hazy ones taken across the border) are actually of fake villages that NK has built as a sort of "We have it so good here" propaganda. The buildings don't have windows, people living in them, or real walls.

  • Hasn't North Korea ever heard the phrase "put up or shut up"?

  • Surely South Koreans wouldnt fall for the North Korean propaganda XD

  • My father was brutalized by Korean guards in the Japanese prison camp he was confined in for 3 1/2 years, in Sumatra, during WW2.

Yet, I have a young Korean friend, today. I find him 'funny' and a very humane person. He's a Christian, and a very nice guy with a family here in Oz.

Well. You can see how conflicted I am. lol.

  • @OzzyPatriot Why are you conflicted? you blame all korean people ?

    I pray for you.

  • @Ataryui Awwwww. You pray for me, eh, do you? Thanks! Happy day, happy day when Jesus washed my sins away!

Didn't you slope heads NOT know who Jesus was until like 200 years ago?

FFS! My people got fucked with that shit long before that. I kiss you on the head and slap your face! Welcome to the religious ripoff of the west that fucked your South Korean ass. Enjoy!

  • I found it a bit surprising that the South Korean feels a need to jam broadcasts from North Korea. I cannot believe that the South Korean government would imagine that its citizens might fall for the propaganda of the North Korean broadcasters.

By the way, the clips heard of North Korean radio are not a "32kbits mono" Internet stream; they were recorded from a shortwave radio. If I misinterpreted a comment meant as a joke, I apologize.

  • You sound like Alfred from batman .... Wheres Bruce wayne?!?!?! Why cant he save North korea? Did you murder him ?

  • 1984

  • You really have to have a lot of respect at the bravery of those in the north who try to listen. I am happy to hear that the North's poor economy makes jamming too costly. So sad really. Before the North went commie, both parts of Korea were pretty even but because the South has such a powerful capitalist economy with twice the population and 20x the GDP of the north while the north has been left behind. Hopefully someday that tyrant Kim Jung Il will finally die.

  • I envy North Korea. The west has turned into a monster feeding us lies, it has produced a society mad on consumption of goods and products we dont need. Greed and sloth are rampant and if you think you have freedom in the west think again, Big brother IS watching you..

  • @teamfab

You envy a country where 10% of the population has starved to death since 1994?

You envy a country where 300,000 of its citizens have risked their lives to escape?

You envy a country where people are publicly executed for "crimes" like stealing scrap metal?

you envy a country where hospitals don't have electricity?

Good God. I really pity your history teacher.

  • @TheTollundWoman And i pity you.

  • if the south is so free then how does the government get away with blocking the NK radio, isn't that a contradiction in freedom?

  • @jacksonshakur It's for the sake of internal security. No matter how democratic a country is, it needs to prevent harmful massages from their enemy from influencing the mass.

  • @vkvkvk1219 'prevent harmful massages from their enemy from influencing the mass' sounds like a quote comming from Kim jong ill. Do you really think that people in the south who know that they are much better off then the north are going to flok to the north because they here some crap on the radio? korean people are to welthy and to smart for that crap. im talking about freedom. how would you feel if the media comming from one side of the UK was blocked because it was against the Queen?

  • NORTH KOREAR

  • I've been in Seoul a couple times.....it's possible to listen to the North Korean stations by slightly re-orienting the radio so as to null the South Korean jammer. If you listen closely through the noise, you can hear the talk and music shows from up there. Real creepy sounding march music and what can best be described as very exhuberant voices chanting praise of the Kims' regime.

  • For example, North Koreans have not the opportunity to hear for 24 hours every day the point of view of US-Pentagon that speads through CNN, AP, Reuters. through the media of the US occupied South. It is a tragic lack of democracy though USA government, the DPRK's best friend has no access to the people of North Korea.

Well yes. We, as an ally of the USA had to forbid the access to the official site of DPRK and we had to close some other site, because you know what Machiavelli had say..

  • so, dose America feed on wars??

  • The real barriers to reunification on the peninsula are Kim Jong-Il and his Chinese backers.

  • after Korean war, South Korea regime just wiped out and massacred anyone communism related.

In South Korea, if u speak anything friendly to North Korea, u were arrested.

  • stop lying. North Korea has internet.

US and South Korea puppet army killed over 470000 innocent Koreans during Korean war.

over 100,000 South Koreans eventually migrated to North Korea after the war.

  • @dongsoola You have the wrong information about the Korean war. It started by one man who believed communst and he and his followers turned aginst own people and joining with the China, they first started the war and ended up killing lthe arge number of own people.

  • Those poor people in North Korea. Brainwashed. I recently read a book about a guy who escaped from it and it was terrible in North Korea. No one really understands what really goes on in there... :(

  • Next Target for Team America after cleaning up Iraq and Afghanistan?

  • @Kurisuvk Exactly. I'll tolerate a puny little silly North Korea any day over the insufferable United States. Well put!

  • @SumnerMurrayRedstone If that's truly how you feel why don't you make a stand and stop using anything produced, invented, created or thought of in the United States... like YouTube is a good start... maybe the computer you are on... the internet... the operating system you are using... the electricity you have and if you live in Europe the air you breathe and the language you speak.

  • I can't believe there is still a place like North Korea in the world!

  • wonderfully done networkworld!!

  • lol, they're so far back in the times, even their radio broadcasts are 32kbits mono, lol

  • @MrPacMan36 lets go hack north korea....

  • @Zoroasterrrr

xD and we probably could, ;)

  • @Zoroasterrrr

What is there to hack in North Korea? They Internet is non-existent to much of Kim Jong Il's country.

  • N Korea is a prison Kim Jong is a deranged and needs to be eliminated

  • @scootosan Yes but it's not your right to eliminate him.

  • @SumnerMurrayRedstone you lilly liver pussy you obiviously know nothing of life outside your basement dwelling exsistance do us all a favor and never ever procreate with any two legged or four legged animal
