  • very helpful video dude thanks!

  • Hey there.. just wondering if you have the name of the company that you bought the package with? any recommended website under the price range you mentioned including the flight to lukla and meals, guide etc? Any website for the guide company? Is April,May a good time to go there? ... would really appreciate your answer

  • did your guide carry your sleeping bag and gear?

  • how much money did you need to travel around the world?

  • Hello, like your videos. Shoes? What type of shoes do you recommend and oppose? trail running shoes? Goretex shoes for warmth? Running shoes with mesh for cooling?

  • That is a kick ass hat

  • Nice vid! Two years in one pair of pants - well I guess it's economical ...

  • Is that just a stuff sack? or is there something in the "Prime USA" bag?

Or is it just there for looks and to fill up space.

  • Sleeping Bag.

  • Ah, thats what I thought.

thats a very interesting kukri. Your editing is nice and simple, no useless fancy transitions......which make it look like a 5 year old tried to edit it into an action movie.

  • Good stuff!

  • Every day for almost two years? Great pants! What make and model, and where can I get them?

    Did you use a tent/bivvy?

    Nice Kukri!

  • 1. They were a pair of pants by Prana.

I think they were even women's pants but I'm a small guy and they fit so well that I didn't care.

And to be fair, there were a few places (e.g. Greece, Thailand, etc.) were all I did was wear boardshorts for the beach everyday.

    2. Oh Good Lord No. I stayed with the Sherpas in their homes. Once you get to base camp and above that's no longer an option and you need a professional quality tent that costs more than my car.

    3. Kukri Review Coming Up!

  • Do you remember which model the pants were? Are they zip offs?

  • Nope, not zipoffs.

just synthetic (polyester, nylon, and a little cotton) pants that I found at an REI gear sale.

They're no longer on the website.

Just check out the mens line a Prana for something similar.

  • What do you think of the Prana Katek?

  • I'm not a fan of zipoff pants but functionally (material, quick dry, machine washable) it's looks to be pretty good.

I never pay retail for my gear though.

Just haunt the sales racks at REI and other outlets.

You might come across new gear you've never heard of. That's how I came across Prana.

  • Great video!
