I have created a music album which charts the history of the Space Race.
Space Race by Rhesus Monkey.
The album charts the start of the Space Race with Sputnik 1957, Yuri Gagarin's first human space flight, John Glenn's Triple Orbit, Ed White's Gemini IV Space Walk, then onto Apollo.
You can view videos of three tracks from the album within my YouTube channel.
@H123Laci the LM/LEM pilot was responsible for maintaining the systems and insuring that the LM WOULD land, it was the command who did the actual piloting on all of the flights during the Apollo programs
Real computers have 32K rom, 2 k ram, 4 lines of number readout and a 10 button entry pad. And unlike almost anything today they work upside down flying over the moon when overloaded and jettison non-important tasks to keep the operator alive. The best program EVER written, bar none, and the beginning of EVERYTHING you are using to view this.

@ADTR513 It's easier than you think to land on the moon. It's not done entirely manually.

Aldrin was the LM pilot.
Why Armstrong flied the LM?
H123Laci 7 months ago
@H123Laci As LM pilot, Aldrin was responsible for flying it back into orbit to rendezvous with the Command Module.
