For once, that organisation knew what it was doing. Michels won the European Cup with Ajax, the Spanish league with Barcelona and Euro 88 with Holland. He should also have won the 1974 World Cup. You do know his record is overhyped as well as his status as a manager. when he manages a team with medium financial recourses as well as medium rated players i.e. a mid table team and is as succesfull, at that point i will call him a great manager

@mastalks I already have a response for that,with Futebol Clube do Porto,(portuguese team)he won the UEFA Cup in 2002-2003 I think,and in the next season he won the UEFA Champions League with Porto again.That is great managing.

@triplehhhmytimewwf eh no! porto are does not fall in that category, they are by far the most financial stable team in Portugal and up onto recently have only faced one title rival (benfica). the only avarage team he's ever managed was sporting and what happened? i'll tell you, he fell out with the board. @mastalks he did a thing most managers couldnt do, he made uniao de leiria 3rd before going to fcporto,check the stats and u see,mourinho took the team in december 2000 from 13th place,made the team 5th at the end of 00-01,then he had the team 3rd during the 01-02 season.And dont tell me leiria had a big budget.It was always a mid-table team.
Speaking of barca,they dont need a coach,the players are machines.Guardiola only keeps the team in good chemistry and plays wenger's system.

@trollamenos fool, they're using the cruijff system. as for that poor example, it means nothing. steve mclaren won the dutch league with twente the carling cup with middlebrough and came to the final of the uafa cup with a teams of similar limited recources as leiria. alex ferguson won that shitty two horse league back to back as well as the uafa cup with almost no recources with aberdeen and then build a manchester united to the way it today. so keep your invalid comments to yourself

@mastalks barca 94 is alot different from this one,the 94 team was playing more like a dutch team,this team plays more the spanish way.The 94 team had a big advantage over this team,they could counter-attack more easily using only 3 passes,from defence to middle and then to offence,now barca can't do this thing,they keep on passing the ball around midfield and after 5 minutes they push it to offence.They do it even when they are losing.This is a good system only if you are ahead in the score.

@mastalks total football inverted by crujff???????????where the fuck did you noticed that???total football was inverted by Rinus Michels.Barca does NOT play total football now,the system barca has now is veeeeeery different than any aspect of total football.The only time Barca played total football was when Michels was coaching the team and Crujff and Neeskens where playing,73-74 season i think...

Mourinho already coached a team w/ med financial resources "porto" & won everything w/ them including the champions league and before he got to chelsea or inter they were going nowhere & he took them to the top of the table in ea league. He proved himself enough already and he is def the best coaches in the world. If anything Guardiola is the one that has something to prove because he started coaching a team that was built already & hasnt coached in any other leagues.
