Thanks for making these videos! Dvorak is my favourite composer.
Something from the 6th symphony would be great - particularly the 1st and 3rd movements.
There's some great stuff in the early symphonies toom like the 1st movement of the 2nd symphony - it's so light and sunny, and ever changing, like a kaleidoscope.
The 1st movement of the 3rd symphony is really powerful.
The opening of the Noon Witch (lilting clarinet) and Water Goblin (sinister brass) would be good on here too!
Hello and thank you! Hmmm... well maybe if you could send me an mp3 file of those string quartets, and I could include them, but I don't have them on disc, so otherwise I wouldn't be able to.
A very good choice, although I was hoping for "the Hymn to the moon" from Dvorak's Opera"Rusalka"
particularly Renée Fleming's performance of this most beautiful aria. Maybe next time? Having followed quite a number of your videos, I wonder if you are keen on Opera?
I feel that I might even have to make a Part 3 with some excerpts from Rusalka, the Sixth symphony, the Piano Concerto and some of the tone poems, maybe some of the Piano Quartet. I am not the biggest fan of opera, I probably couldn't sit down and just listen to a whole opera, but I really enjoy the overtures and some of the arias.
I know...I've been really busy at work and doing things around the Flat.....! All those videos at my "Charliesmilton" channel I've kept.....I'll get em uploaded soon....be patient ! One morning you're gonna wake up and find out that all of a sudden I've uploaded loads of vids.....so get ready!!!
Divine! Thank you for your kind sensibility!

Great selection!
Dvorak had a unique gift for melody....I'd put him alongside Mozart and Schubert in that respect....!
