  • Nice Remake Brother, But I think it's slightly a little faster than Madlib's Version, But over all do ya thang.

  • how do you press the key once n then make it keep playing without having to have your finger on it ?

  • @WhatWoMENsWant If you can get to the parameters page, make sure whatever pad u want to play without having your finger on it is set to Voice Overlap: MONO or POLY....if its on NOTE OFF, you have to keep your finger on it...hope this helps... Peace!!

  • @Verysickbeats much love !

  • @WhatWoMENsWant boost the release.

  • @SamplingMusic <3 i figured it out ive made 11 beats since them wid the mpd

  • dope shit man

  • Your beats sound criss fam, i would rap on that. Have you fucked around with Don Blackman - Hearts Desire. Would like to hear how you handle that. Peace from London City

  • Nice

  • @spurts Thank you!

  • @Verysickbeats

No worries! I wish I could get my head around an MPC. I've got one (new 1000) but I'm scared of it haha!! Been making beats for a while on Ableton but everything sounds a bit clean and clinical.

Have you used one?? And if so, do you know if it sounds 'like' an older one i.e yours or an MPC60? Peace ;-)

  • @spurts I think u should keep it becuz it would be a better transition from albeton then an older version of the mpc. I've never used one, but heard plenty of beats made on them and you wont be disappointed. To be honest, it's not about what u use, but how u use it. Hope this helps...

  • @Verysickbeats Yeah, you're right man. I've heard pure fire made on lots of different systems and set ups and it's down to skills and creativity really. I think the problem is that I've got a weak sound card and I think it'd be good to use dedicated hardware like an MPC regardless of how old it is.

Thanks for your reply, you've got a nice style, loving your Rhodes playing too ;-)

  • @spurts Thanx fam, cant go wrong with MPC

  • @Verysickbeats I guess I should find out on my own!!! But I'm wondering whether to sell it and get an older model before I ruin mine through using it haha!! It's brand new and at present could get a good price.

  • good look mayn !

  • @Verysickbeats Thanks!

  • Man, i need to get me one of those! What's it called, an MPC 2000?
