Amazingly majestic performance by orchestra filarmonica di fantova, specially conductor, musicians playing strings & awesome choir "Estudiantina"...indeed appropriate performance of one of Franz Joseph Hayden's Masterpieces!!
can't hear the choir too well, but I can hear some guys sticking out. Might wanna work on blending more with one another. That's important in choral music. This piece needs vocal power and extensive dynamics...good performance..I can hear lots of individual voices though..and that's a no no with choral music. Great job though!
No this was a concert for the San Francisco Symphony with Bernard Labadie conducting. It was a all Haydn concert including Te Deum, Symphony 100, and Mass in Time of War. In the end the Te Deum was nice but I felt they should have used a reduce chorus as it muddied the waters a bit.
Excellent performance of the Te Deum and video. I am to review a concert performance of it along the Mass in Time War with the San Francisco Symphony this week. Thanks for saving me having to buy it. John Chase
