Chris Rea is a great musician and songwriter.

Although, as one of his greatest fans, I have to say that this band makes me sad.

I'm sure they're all very good musicians in their own genre, but unfortunately they have no idea of how Chris Reas music should be interpreted.

The beat feels too stressed and sterile, far from the relaxed and steady feeling that appears on the records.

Only Chris' song and bottleneck guitar bring some heart to this performance.

cannot understand who plays last slide solo. camera shows chris playing in the neck's center, but the sound is pretty high like in very up of the neck, higher 15th fret

@Teply4len My best guess is that the last slide solo WAS him but that the video showing him playing rhythm was from another part of the performance and it was spliced in simply to show a "close-up" - the video and sound don't match during the "close-up" (6:55) but they do match at the very end of the solo when the distant shot is used (7:20)
