"I LIVE TO SERVE NOT TO OWN" :D

Hey do you know where i could find some of these? I live in singapore so most of the plecos i find are Common 1s :O

  • @crazyweirdomimicers

Over here in Germany, you can buy them in nearly ever pet shop. Sorry, I don't know where to get them in singapore, maybe some other viewer of this video knows that.

  • @n03lzz I am a saddist :(

  • @n03lzz how much are they selling that for?

  • @crazyweirdomimicers

You cannot buy fully grown ones very often. But they sell smaller ones for about 2-3 €, that's 3,5 - 5 Singapore dollar.

  • @n03lzz O shucks :( I get $7 a day for recess money I can get 1 in no time if there was any in singapore :(

  • @n03lzz please upload more videos on your awesome pleco!

  • @crazyweirdomimicers

At the moment i'm working on some videos of my european cold water tank. But the tropical tanks will follow. Make sure that you have subscribed for not missing the updates. =)

  • @n03lzz You have the largest bristlenose on youtube i'd be mad not to subscribe

  • @n03lzz hello, iv got a bristlenose whos getting quiet large but i havnt noticed these bristles on his nose liike yours has, is this to do with its sex? or are my cichlids nibbling away at it?

  • @n03lzz same in australia

  • You have a beauuutiful bristlenose pleco!

    Thank you for sharing!

  • @psYnel

And thank you for commenting! =)

  • what size is that red tailed shark?

  • @Sp33dstix:

    In this video it was about 10 - 11 cm long. That's 4 - 4.3 inches.

  • i need your help what should i call my pleco ??? got any idears ???

  • I don't give my fish names... They don't hear when i call them. :S

  • lol, his name is now mr brown

  • Are you sure it's a Mister and not a Misses?^^

  • no, good point

  • still you can name the special or you favorite one.

my molly;s name is molly lol.

  • Ok, one of my fish has a name. It's my pearl gourami male. I saved it from death in the petstore. It has one degenerated eye. And my girlfriend named it "mad eye moody". It developed to such a beautiful specimen.

  • I know in pet stores they dont bother about dead fish 3 of my guppies had gill flukes. One died in the shop.now they are all 4 healthy and growing.

  • female molly.

  • right i have a plec with exact markings but no bristles, are the bristles just on males or do they all develop them as they get older?

  • Only the males got such bristles, which starts to grow with a size of one inch (2,5cm). But only fully grown males got those splendid antlers. You can compare the female and the male in this video: 3:38 male, 3:50 female.

  • @n03lzz thank you, the one we has is about two inches now i got it when it was about a centimetre lol, did not think they would be sold at this size, must be a female because there is no sign of bristles.

  • Yes, a two inch male ancistrus should show small pimples, at least.

  • I don't get it. I thought this tank was asian themed, and that all species of plecos, even ones that fly or wear clothes, come from south america?

  • That's absolutly right.

Those plecos are my oldest and most beloved fish. They are so big, that i had to make a decission: give them away or put them in this tank.

So i made this one exception.

(I hope your are not too displeased.^^)

  • Nils, this is your tank and what you say goes. What anyone else thinks about it dosen't really matter, though the five stars and thousands of views can't mean a bad thing. BEsides, bristlenoses are awesome fish, even if their price is not so awesome. Its a great tank with great fish, owned by a great aquarist doing a great job.

Ps. I'm very good at ranting and nagging...

  • they dont have a problem inhaleing sand?

  • In contrast to the chinese algae eater, which never suck on the sand, the bristlenoses got absolutly no problem with the sand. They interact very cool with it.

  • Nice plecos. I think they look infected, lol because of the face. I seen some short and round ones the other day at my LFS and their price was outrages.

  • I never made to get a video of it, but some of my plecs also got those bristles inside of their mouth. You can only see it, when they suck on the glass.

    That looks strange.^^

  • Cool plecs!

  • Yes! =D

    Thank you.

  • quick question: Do u have any inverts in any of ur aatanks?

  • You mean invertebrates? Yes, i have Sri Lanka dwarfshrimp in all of my tanks. Hordes of them. Check out my older video: "Hordes of Sri Lanka dwarfshrimp / Sri Lanka Zwerggarnele [1/1]" or /watch?v=BA_ljyvHxyU

  • there are bits on the video with them but it's hard to see. they had two sets of fry and only about 5/6 left but the babies are growing quickly. it's been nearly a year now. the adults are calm and pretty big. i shall make an update soon

  • mines about the same size

  • Cool, i'd love to see a video of them. I didn't see them in your video so far, right?
