looks so easy, i wonder what a slice of that pie looks like???? I'll have to try it myself? I'll look for the book in my library. Thanks guy! fondly, Caroline
That pie looks fantastic, and I do plan to make it someday, although I would suggest topping it with sliced banana and strawberry or other fruits of choice-drizzling a bit of lemon juice over the top to keep everything colorific!
OH FOOEY on those that don't like you giggling!!! Gosh, it sounds like a yummy recipe to me, but you said you put the pie crust in the dehydrator at 125*F??? Isn't food consdered "raw" only if warmed up to a limit of 118*F ???
The food doesn't actually reach the temp that the dehydrator is set to. Kind of like the stove. We bake things at 350 or 400 degrees, but the food never reaches that temp. And the more moist an item is, the higher the temp it can take without overheating.
Kevin and Annmarie keep on giggling; it is infectious and you are not harming anyone. I am personally thankful for my family and my true, yes, true good friends and of course the two of you!!!
I must say that I like the color of your kitchen and also the curtain that covers (I'm assuming) a pantry entrance; very nice.
Kevin, I am also a subscriber to "Natural News" and "Health Book Summaries" (Mike Adams and yourself). One problem though, I don't like that black and white picture of
Ani Phyo uses date sweeters in all of her desserts as well. I have done her raw vegan apple pie which I found on youtube as well. Funny thing is I added ginger to her recipe as well! And... I am thankful for all of your videos (I made the meatballs by the way... great!!).
yay, hi ann's parents ... the pie looks delicious ... have you used stevia much as a sweetener? ... i've used it a little, more as a "co-sweetener" with other things like honey or dates ... or (yikes) agave ... xoxo
