If this was an argument of biting, I can say that Jadakiss bit off Cam when they both had songs called "Why." But they had two totall different aspects on asking the question "why." Nova's version speaks from one aspect of a person hating the politics of the workplace. Cam's version speaks from TWO perspectives: His baby mom's hating her job, and he's having a hard time finding one by being an ex-felon.

You mean to tell me that when you send demo tapes in into these record companies, that the record companies themselves partake in partial ownership over the song because you sent the tape to them? Let me explain a little better, first off im going to be honest these are not things that i have seen happen but my cuzzin does this rapping shit and he skooled me...sum wat....but look...if you made a demo tape, then as long as you have a copy or sent a copy to your email or something like that then your ok, but as i said b4 you sign alot of diff contracts, your contract with your label has nothing to do wit the contracts you sign for radio play,and rhyming over a sampled beat....

wont cause trouble much trouble even though u can be sued if u didnt get permission from the owner but the thing is nobody wants to look like a hater and take you to court unless you made alot of money off of the sample, and yes record companies do take partial ownership,but as u said if you copywrite it then it is urs, but if u dont then its just as much as urs as nebody that gets their hands on it,unless your on it and u have the original copy,btw you mostly see copywrites for albums and stuff
