  • I think this gun would be good for the trapline, shooting the animals in the traps.

  • can you get this gun in australia?

  • People always seem to think of these as if they'll be using them the same way as a semi-auto, just single action and a 2 shot capacity. Like the gun will be expected to end a firefight or something. It always seemed to me like the use of these would be something along the lines of "First shot gives you an opening to start running, second shot if you can't run fast enough".

  • You can call Cobra and they will send you the proper allen wrench which is the only way to remove/replace the grips.

  • o and BTW, the cobra standard comes in these cal choices.

    Calibers:.22LR or .22mag or .25Auto or .32Auto

  • anyone who thinks a .22LR is not an effective weapon has never seen someone get shot with one. Only if an assailant is wearing body armor, does a .22lr become not effective.

  • I had one of those when I was a prostitute.

  • i have a cobra big bore 38 special, and i love it, i want a 22 for concealed carry, because my 38 is a bit too heavy, and so are my other handguns, i tried to carry my s&w 5903, and it hurts my hip too much, about how much does this little peice weigh, thanks.

  • I just got mine today..how do u remove the grips? is there some wrench that you use and if so where do u get them?

  • so its ammo is 22 long rifle ammo

  • Watching this video.. makes me wanna get one too..

  • i just bought the same exact model with the exeption of the rosewood grips on mine..cool little piece.

  • @RAIZEDBYWOLVEZ whoops..mine is a .22 mag

  • @RAIZEDBYWOLVEZ How much did you get it for? Just curious....

  • @AceKing2012 $225 out the door including paperwork.

  • i know nothing about guns, but i have a question will such small bullets actually be effective? can .22 kill with one shot to the head.

  • @burtbenediction yes..at close range.

  • 22 is a good choice for any back up...any person would hate to get shot with 22 because it bounces around inside you when shot.. Causes more damage internally than most any other round because of this. Head shot better....gut or chest shot...bad to the threat.....regardless....good at 5 feet or closer. Use hollow points or any high velocity round in hollow point for personal defense.

  • Invalid Website Script.

    Awesome Guns.

  • can you use a 22 short

  • Excellent video. Good job on the nomenclature of the derringer and explanation of price, etc. I am thinking of buying one as well.

  • Very good review. Thank you.

  • Please reply. Where was this purchased ? I've been interested in buying 1

  • were did u get this

  • my cuzin has this bt its a 32

  • cobra does make a 22cal magnum same as u show

  • Well,.you did very good job in discription and precautionary. good commentary

  • And there are more dog bites in the us every year by golden retrievers and labs than Any other dog.....22 ammo Is cheap, alot of the guns are cheap... Easy to use.. Light recoil ..it's not the deadliest gun... There's alot of tards that think " o it's only a 22" alot of those deaths come from that mindset...not really the preferred caliber for a pro "hitman" either

  • i want to make a belt buckle out of this pistol.

  • @derringerify .22 caliber can easily kill a human....shot placement.

  • omfg... i luv yhis gun and i live 20 minutes away from salt lake

  • @derringerify The .22 is the most deadly round in the US currently.

  • @Speedogg138 o.O you idiot. no it's not. the most deadly round in the US is the700 nitro express, whoever told you that is a complete twat, just like you. by the way, the .22 is the WEAKEST round in the US.

  • @masonroe157900000 Did you have to try and be that stupid, or do you actually think that? According to the FBI, the .22LR killed more people than any other round in the US in 2004. So, more or less, you can go fuck yourself or smarten up. :)

  • @Speedogg138 true... the .22 caliber has long been the caliber of choice for professional hitmen... two shots point blank behing the ear...your brain is stew..

  • @Speedogg138 And i personally guarantee you spent hours researching that just so you could prove me wrong. Another thing, just because it killed more people, does NOT mean it is a higher power round. a 30 grain .22LR RN only fires at roughly 1,750 FPS, and that is the most powerful .22LR round, yet it is still not much more powerful than a pellet gun. Another reason that figure exists, the .22 LR is easily silenced, which would explain all of those deaths.Soo, get the fuck off, troll

  • @masonroe157900000 You would guarantee me that? Even thought I was right all along, I had to look up facts? Brilliant! You didn't just pull that out of your ass or anything. And NOBODY ever said it was more powerful. I said more deadly, i.e. has caused more deaths. The ft-lb of a .22 is MUCH greater than even a high power pellet gun, but that concept is probably a little too much coming from someone that thinks that someone said the .22 is the most powerful. .22LR = 160 ft-lb. Pellet = 80 ft-lb

  • @Speedogg138 You have a nice day too.

  • @RAIZEDBYWOLVEZ none of your concern, mate.

  • @masonroe157900000 im not your mate son.

  • @RAIZEDBYWOLVEZ XD Ok

  • 'Stopping Power' is whatever it takes to 'stop' the threat. That could be a .50 cal to the head or a .22 that misses by a mile. Beyond assassins and drug fueled ragers the psychological effect of a criminal's would be prey cannoning lead at them will stop the threat before caliber and shot placement ever come into play. I'm not advocating a .22 as a primary but if I just came from the gym and don't have my regular .45 carry rig sliding a .22 in my pocket fills that gap and keeps me carrying 100%

  • im 14 and i want 1 for display purpose and i live in the uk wud i be able to get of course my mom wud have to order it lmao plz respond

  • 8:54 in the backround.. lol

  • OMFG, Why does every vid is about a guy talking? I want to see someone shooting!

  • IN CA:

"I'd like a gun lock please."

"Get your a** on the ground and interlock your fingers behind your head"

  • hey i see you did this review in 09 hows it been so far have you had any problems with the gun? or is it still working well with no problems?

  • is this a decent gun? i know its cheap just wondering if anyones had any problems with it?

  • It's a prostitute gun.

  • You can get Derringers in 45-70 in the bottom barrel, and 410g/.45 Long Colt in the top barrel. It's nuts

  • You say "Uh" a lot.

  • Al - ah - min - yum. Phonetic style.

  • ... that is one neat little piece! :-)

  • did u have to get a permit to get that gun its realy small

  • @datmygirl278 any firearm needs to be registered and the owner needs a permit, even if the caliber is small.

  • @datmygirl278 No need for a permit for this gun in the U.S.. Just you can not be a felon or with outstanding warrants.

  • this gun is so friggen loud when shot

  • Great review as always!

    The website is now: cobrafirearms(dot)net

  • @jamieski1972 thanks I was wondering why the site wasn't working

  • The website is now: cobrafirearms(dot)com

  • NOTE: the site for the company has since changed to cobrafirearms. net

  • Comment removed

  • i promise if you shoot someone with a rat show in the torso there not gunna like it and prob gunna go to the ground and cry

  • Could you use it as a ccw?

  • dummy rounds are cools

  • finally got mine, my review is up as well, YAY!

  • no much exp with derringers but all the few i've played with would only drop the hammer at full cock.. is this the same or will it drop the hammer from half cocked also?

looks nice i had kinda ignored cobra cause i always seen the nickel plated 380's that look like a jennings or something.

but this little derringer actually looks pretty well put together.

  • get to the gun already

  • those are desert eagle sights

  • wish they made it in .32 Mag. Would be a prefect derringer....

  • I'd love to get one for my wife, but they aren't legal in these parts.

  • thanks 4 the vid saw 1 4 $80.00 at a pawn shop think i'll get it

  • You talk SOOOOOOOOO MUCHHHHH

  • @alanownsyou It's an overview... Do you expect him to shoot in the house? Seriously... Stop being a retard, you're watching a video where the person is suppose to talk. And talk a lot.

  • where the hell u get that

  • @donutooo any gun sho;p, only costs a litte over a hundred dollars

  • @cutlerylover they jumped up in price. They are between $130-$160 now. :(

  • @cutlerylover

yea its about 119.00 to 130.00

  • if you order this online, do they do checks on you and stuff? or is it as simple as buying say, a videogame or something?

  • don t you have to have a licenes to purches it

  • MA is stupid, gun people NEVER MOVE THERE!

  • what is your camera on?

  • i have to say: you are the most reduntant, long winded person on youtube. this being said, i have never seen a single video that leaves me with the ability to ask questions. you honestly give the most thorough, indepth reviews/instructions on the web. thank you.

  • At that price one could carry 2 or 3 on them. One in the pocket, one on the hip, and one in the boots.

  • did u order it onlne

  • lol omfg really it goes abck and fourth thought it only shit the top one and bottom was for show damm man thanks so much

  • Great review! I see on their website, they have a 38 special version. Do you know if it was more pricey? ...or did you consider that version? ...or is it much larger? (i will check the site again.) Thank you!

  • sweet

  • That stupid, I have .500 cal 20 bbl derringer. Made in North Korea by real craftsmen. I can hit a coke can at 2,000 yds with it every shot. Yeah, I'm bad!!!

  • 5:28

that stuff should be said at the beginning of the video

  • what guns do you keep loaded in your house? If you dont mind

  • do you need a gun permit in california to have that gun

  • how much was it im thinking of buying one later on in life im young but when im older

  • @jjlee08 well babies were their target demographic

  • are the barrels rifled?

  • @saj12100 yes they are

  • @cutlerylover Ok, thanks.

  • @cutlerylover do you still have only 60 rounds through it? i am getting one and i sure hope it can take a few thousand rounds atleast.

  • pew pew

  • Are there derringer pistols quiet or quieter than other guns? It's real?

    The 22 derringer is deadly?

  • @mickeynorson they are louder than some, quieter than others. It is real and a .22 is deadly.

  • i would make a belt buckle out of that little fucker.

  • bout the only thing made in america today! guns an you know what it works! well most! almost all of the good guns do work all the time now they eventualy break usualy a $5 part and can be fixed easily

  • A couple rounds in the gut should buy some time.

  • A Cobra .22 derringer should be fine, but I wouldn't trust their larger guns.

  • @Threetails me niether.

  • cool gun dude

  • IF someone is trying to mug you, Are you allowed to shoot them in the face?

  • Thatd be self denfense but you could still be tried for murder depends on your state laws and what happens in court.

  • @tobz5050 you would have too shoot the face at point blank range for it to be effective.

  • @RAIZEDBYWOLVEZ Really!? I guess i just assumed guns were really powerful.

What if you shot someone in the heart?

  • @RAIZEDBYWOLVEZ no you wouldnt.

  • @saj12100 a .22?? as to stop an attacker dead in thier tracks with this paticular firearm? yes you would..or at least really close range in the chest...but it would have no stopping power and this little pea shooter isnt very accurate....cmon. Would you trust it?

  • @RAIZEDBYWOLVEZ NEVER underestimate any gun or cartridge

  • @saj12100 but would you trust it? im not saying i wouldnt worry about getting shot with it because i would but... as a fire arm for self defense its not my first choice. this gun is a last ditch choice.. very, very close quarters.

  • @RAIZEDBYWOLVEZ of course its not my first choice, but if it was all i had then i would carry it.

  • are these guns legal in the UK?

  • @Allybaty No. .22LR is, but only for rifles. Handguns (including in .22) are illegal with the exception of Law enforcement and military personal, even they have strict rules to abide by. It gets confusing.

  • Hey dude

Your derringer is NOT made of stainless steel.

  • @makemydammdaypunk website calls it an aloy body, coudl be anything really, I assumed steel for its weight...

  • @cutlerylover Can this gun also have a aluminum plate with the stainless steel? I just think that aluminum finishes are nice.

  • @cutlerylover Yeah, these are made mostly of a non-steel alloy. The barrels are sleeved -- the inner part is steel, the outer (and the rest of the gun) is something else.

  • @makemydammdaypunk then whats it made of fuck face?

  • Beautiful gun and very god review.

  • Salt Lake City, Utah FTW!! Thats where i live!

  • how do you clean it

  • IF y'all like this piece check out the NAA mini .22. Great revolver and so tiny it's funny.

  • @usbacer23 coolstorybro

  • You only need one well-placed bullet to incapacitate or kill a person. The reduced ammo capacity is because it's meant to fend off one or two thugs from mugging you, not to take down entire street gangs. You don't bring this to the battlefield. This is a self-defense weapon, no more, no less.

  • I carrya glockm 36, but to say no gun is better than a small one is obsurd...

  • @onejam1001 ARE YOU A DUMBASS

  • would this be a gun gun for shooting racoons i get in my traps?

  • what does it shoot?

  • ........ really? look at the title dude........

  • imagine this in .500 smith&wesson!

  • @saj12100 might explode

  • @RAIZEDBYWOLVEZ theres a derringer in .45-70 (sligh tly larger than the .500)

  • @saj12100 really? i will check that out.. crazy.

  • @RAIZEDBYWOLVEZ i think its called kile the "alaskan m4" gunwebsited does a video on it.

  • @saj12100 YEAH RIGHT haha

  • @tfoshohoe its true!

gunwebsites has a video of it.

  • @saj12100 call me a troll, but im almost positive i saw a derringer in .444 or 45-70. look it up, but dont hate if i was dreaming!

  • @mousepad1123 i didnt disagree with you.

  • @mousepad1123 The largest I have seen is .44 magnum. A .45-70 would separate your thumb and index finger's webbing. However I have seen a .30-06 handgun. No need to call you a troll dude?

  • @alaskanhybrid the video is posted by davegunman and is is entitles 45-70 derringer. maybe hes lying but its there...in the related videos of this vid, acually...

  • @alaskanhybrid American derringer does make a 45-70. I believe it weighs 16.5 ounces and has an 8 inch barrel. Price is around $745.00.

  • @litlrikd I just figured that anything bigger than a .44 mag would be painful and overkill.

  • Nice little pocket gun. Derringers rule.

  • I carry a Big Bore Cobra 38 special. Very nice and useful. Affordable defence is not just for the wealthy.

  • nice video...From a French Potatoes Eater

  • Thanks for the informative review. I've been thinking about getting a tiny firearm, this seems one like a very nice one.

  • the 38 special can shoot a 357

  • its the other way around, a 357 chamber can shoot 38 specials, but you cant shoot 357 in a gun deticated for 38 specials...but I know what you meant...

  • there's also Cobra Derringer on .32 & .38, which he did not mention, I carry a .32, good size ammo & gun itself, .38 is a little bit to big

  • yay utah

  • i thought these things were illegal...

  • Comment removed

  • Beautiful GUN.....VERY NICE!

  • Comment removed

  • each tiem you pull the trigger the trigger moves from one firing pin to the other up and down each time so no matter what your 1st shot is, the bottom or top barrel the second shot will be the other one...

  • Comment removed

  • ..also, the most kills for a round in the world is 7.62x39mm.

  • thats incorrect, the most man ufactered rifle is the KA47 and varients, and yes it does shoot a 7.62X49 round, but there are more documented deaths by 22 than any other caliber, thats a fact...as I mentioned the 1st time Im talking about non military related deaths...

  • Could you use a .22Mag?

  • no 22mag uses a larger casing that wotn fit in this gun

  • TOO GOD DAMN SHAKEY!!!

and the auto focus is annoying as well

other than that awesome pistol review!!!

  • this is a good gun for prostitutes lol

  • @HammerofThor11 prostitutes in the old west because they were small and easily hidden. when prostitutes got in duels with each other those were the guns they used

  • @HammerofThor11 lol hide it in the vagina ^^

  • Nice......I have the exact same thing except mine has the nickel/chrome finish. Fun little noisy cricket. Not practical or reliable but cool and cute

  • @JediTomkat could you hit someone from 20 yards in the head?

  • Heck no it's inaccurate as hell.......just a fun gun

  • i googled it and they make one in 38 special i think that might be a cool gun to get

  • this gun is HOT.

  • Nice video. Can you make a video that has holsters for the gun in you video?

  • just a note: with the cable lock i recieved for passing my hunter safety course, i noticed that the cable lock it far to thick to fit in a .22 caliber barrel. it is the same kind of lock [project childsafe] that you get at the police station.
