I am sorry you don't feel that his tape would be enhanced by being able to see his hands or that one could better evaluate his tone if there were drier acoustics. I thought I was offering constructive criticism that Emre can take or leave. For all I know he may be the next Cloyd Duff. I just can't tell from this tape because of the excess reverberation. If he was just a "hack" I would not have bothered to leave a comment. I think it's unfortunate that he is not showing himself at his best.
This tape does show the finess of his playing, again, if you have trained ears with a little bit of experience. You can fake the sound and the rhythm, but not the emotion, timpani is such a lovely thing that your personalitiy is transferred so directly into the sound!
Also, he is not going to be another Cloyd Duff, if you ever listen to Duff's playing, the approach they have taken are completely different, Duff is more to blend while this guy is a lot more powerful, more like say David Herbert of San Francisco or Berlin Philharmonic's Wieland Welzel.
The hall reverberates so much for the Beethoven it is hard to hear to make out the details of your performance. Your music stand is also right in the middle of the picture so I cannot see what you are doing with your hands. Good Luck
Are you just trying to bash the crap out of the best players so you get a better chance to win? What's your motivation here to criticise a high standard perforamce? I don't think most people would give a s**t even if you fit him into Berlin Philharmonic.
wenn du schon plastikfelle hast, kannst du tchaikovsky auch sauber spielen..

Hi buddy,
Are you just trying to bash the crap out of the best players so you get a better chance to win? What's your motivation here to criticise a high standard perforamce? I don't think most people would give a s**t even if you fit him into Berlin Philharmonic.
