    There is a mod where units move from bunker to bunker on their own. It's called a rally point.

  • sorry, but i am going to have to call BS on this. A units firing speed can be modded. Unless you created a mod where units move ALL by themselves from bunker to bunker, then this video should be flagged for lack of authenticity.

  • Basically this works like a conveyor belt. The units that are out of range and cannot fire are pulled into fireing range in rapid succession and are ready to fire again by the time they make their next pass. It does not make them fire faster it just makes it so there is allways a unit that is ready to fire within fireing range.

  • @wmaxx3 Out-ranges the bunkers. But then he can just unload them.

  • I estimate there are about 50 bunkers, and 50 marauders. So in order to see if its an exploit or unbalanced. you would have to send in about 57 Immortals instead of 1. And keep in mind that still only 1 bunker would fire. and if the immortals kill that bunker its over.

  • still a good video and it does work well the bunker thing does.....and it was my droid..i dont own an iphone....those really suck....well to me anyway...not sure others feel about it

    1)No units besides marauders can use this trick

    2)There is no gameplay indication marauders should be capable of this, even suggestively

    3)This is a serious disbalance issue when it gets running. Theoritically, neither of the other races (or at least protoss, considering zerg nydus might figure out something) have an effect that can equal it for counterbalance

    4)Report to blizzard your thankfullness. Your account's gonna be gone in a heartbeat and SC'll be hotfixed.

  • @Hydrogosis doing this with 20 marauders will cost you 4000minerals. and they will NOT fire faster than a ball of 20 marauders, if you think so you didnt understand it. Also marauders can instantly shoot even without bunkers, if thats a bug than microing is a bug.

    1)Very clever and neat.

    2)...It -is- an exploit, unless if blizzard said this was perfectly fine to do. Some people here either think it's rational for marauders to spam-shot like that in formal gameplay or they don't know what exploit means. It's not a cheat (ignore rules), hack (rewrite rules), or glitch (cause improper programming management), but it DOES make the game function in unintended ways via completely legit mechanics, literally aka "exploit" .

  • The advantage with this technique is that you can defend with 100% of your units at all locations in the chain.

  • FYI, this doesn't reduce the cooldown on marauders, so there is no damage buff. The end result is that it just simulates a bunker having a capacity over 4. So with a chain of 20 bunkers with 20 marauders, this micro will make it seem like the front bunker contains 20 marauders. You won't get the rapid fire effect with 4 bunkers as the marauder cooldown still applies.

  • @Odium1002 It's not a bug, and using less bunkers does not allow you to fire faster. You can still only fire as fast as any units you could have.

    @TheKingdomofErnor Any unit touching the outside of the bunkers screws up the timing on this. Using 1-spaced bunkers with Marauders is much for forgiving. Also, Marines don't have a zero attack animation time so you have to wait for each one to shoot before hitting Unload again.

  • hm it seems that somebody realy discovered how to abuse this But I don´t think you should build so many bunkers. Just make 4 which are close to each other at your expansions. Then put a marauder in each of them and do the switching. I bet one bunker with this bug shoots alot faster than those 4 marauders could together.
