Airplane Crash in St. Moritz/Samedan - Switzerland

The cause of the crash was due to the captain (who was pilot flying) trying to land in marginal visual conditions. The approach was unstable and was not aligned with the runway. The captain tried to correct the alignment but was still travelling at an angle to the runway when the right wing tip struck the runway. It then drifted left until the left wing struck a snow bank spinning the aircraft anti-clockwise. It then struck another snow bank breaking in two killing both the pilots.

Am a bit confused thoug about the silly remark about mentioning that the passenger being rich, someone travelling on a private jet is most probably wealthy and it is just mentioned to indicate it was not a company employee or a friend of the crew. No harm done.

On landing, the wing caught the snow wall and it swung around smashing nose first in to the snow wall.

I was in St.Moritz at the time.

the pilot was to fast and drove into a snow hill behind the track. the two pilots died but the owner survived

there was a snow wall there and the staff didn't put it away then the plain crashed into it and yeah that was it

this is my friend's dad who was in the plane crash. This was really bad, it was a miracle he survived...
