  • HAHA!!!

Periods? Love Making? I don't think you've ever been in a dysfunctional relationship before.. When a woman sits up and starts bitching about the relationship or her boyfriend, usually every other word is censored, and they're not as calm and polite. Try it.

    Dan.

  • Michelle what are you still doing in Windsor?

  • @kinggilmour :)

im working on it im working on it, i have a till the month of june.

    and thank u sir. :)!!

  • I feel that the dialogue was poorly written. It does not flow naturally. For example, how many people do you know that use "do not" in place of "don't"? The vast majority of people say "don't" when speaking. The same applies for "I am" and " is not".

That aside, the subject manner and execution were really good. I generally agree with your analysis of the piece, too.

  • @GalacticGuardian you know what, I felt the same way when i read it. thats also when it's difficult adapting plays to film because usually the language is like that to make it clear to the people in the back of the seats. but that was part of the challenge. thanks for your honesty though. also it's an awkward situation in general so part of that was intentional. thanks for watchin!

  • Great mono-blog! They're both tragic characters & it's a shame that neither can find the courage & strength to confront each other. It also shows how a bit manipulative (? can't think of a better word atm) both are, as she confronts him when he's at his most vunerable (she may suspect he's awake, but the possibility exists he could be asleep) & he tries to control the situation by ignoring her & pretending to be asleep. Great excert, I'll have to look for Steve's work.

  • @Dreadpirate46 thank you! when finding monologues i really like when there is a chance to act and react to another character in the room. and you are right on manipulation, i think that they can both easily be targetted by that. manipulation sounds malicious, but sometimes it's somewhat more innocent, like when it comes out of insecurity or the fear of being lonely. nobody wants to hurt anybody, but there proccess of avoidance hurts anyways.

    and thanks for watchin!!
