My dad bought this record on the day i was born January 20th 1971 and gave it to my mum, she played it loads whilst i was growing up and i planned to sing it to them on there 50th wedding anniversary but sadly my beautiful mother died this year March 12th and i never got the chance xxxxx beautiful song

Yes these videos take me back to my childhood. My good friend Randy had a couple of Heintje's records. His mom thought he looked like him so she bought the records. He had such a powerful voice for such a young kid.

Eigentlich hat Ronny die Melodie auch nicht geschrieben. Das Original ist das russische Volkslied "Odnozvutchno gremit kolokol'tchik", auch bekannt als "Das einsame Glöckchen".

Stimmt, wieso fiel mir das nie auf ? (Bei seinem "Anja Anja" weiss ich schon lange, dass es die Melodie von "Stenka Rasin" ist). Wahrscheinlich weil der Ronny nicht nur einige Noten verändert, sondern auch das Tempo erhöht hat. Das einsame Glöckchen kenne ich mindestens genauso lange, nämlich von dem grossartigen Serge Jarroff und seinen Don Kosaken. Meine Mutter hatte damals schon die Platten und ich hab sie schon mit 4 Jahren auf ihrer Truhe bis zum Exzess gedudelt.

Mir ist noch aufgefallen, dass in den 60ern bekannte russische Lieder und Melodien wohl sehr erfolgreich waren. Ivan Rebroff und Alexandra feierten große Erfolge, Ronny sang Kleine Annabelle und Anja, Anja (Odnozvutschno gremit kolokoltschik und Stenka Razin), The Seekers sangen "The Carnival is Over" (basierend auf Stenka Razin), Mary Hopkin und viele mehr sangen "Those were the days" (Dorogoj dlinnoju) und Vicky Leandros sang "Wie die wilden Schwäne ziehn" (Tschaikowskis Schwanensee) uvm.

Nicht zu vergessen ist auch noch Mireille Mathieu mit "Der Zar und das Mädchen".

Das ist auch dieselbe Melodie wie diese hier, also auch Das einsame Glöckchen.

Und bei Tschaikowski wurde noch mehr als nur der Schwanensee geklaut: Freddy Breck hat zb. seine "Bianca" dem Cappriccio Italien entnommen.

Alle seine 3 grossen Hits stammen übrigens aus der Klassik: "Rote Rosen" ist Dichter & Bauer von Franz von Suppè und "Überall auf der Welt" ist der Gefangenenchor aus Nabucco von Verdi.

@ColonelHogan9162 Mir fällt noch ein schönes Cover eines russischen Liedes aus den 60ern ein: Björn Ulvaeus von ABBA war damals Gitarrist der "Hootenanny Singers". Die sangen 1964 das sowjetische Pionierlied "Pust vsegda budet solnze" (in der DDR hieß es "Immer lebe die Sonne") als "Gabrielle". Sie sangen das Lied auch auf finnisch, niederländisch, schwedisch und deutsch als Denk daran (Damals war es üblich den russischen Komponisten, Arkadij Ostrovskij, nicht zu nennen, siehe Gene Raskin ;-) )

@04279 Das Lied kenn ich noch nicht,vieles ist leider nicht überall publik geworden,obwohl mich immer schon Songs interessierten,die selbst heute noch keinen interessieren,obwohl sie eben einfach nur gut sind.Aber trotzalledem wurden immer schon viele Komponisten und Texter nicht immer genannt.Gerade die Singles wurden Stiefmütterlich behandelt.

Teilweise garkeine Angabe über Autoren.

Und Stereo erst weit in den 70ern eingeführt,aber mit der Füllschrift schon anfang der 60er angegeben ;)))
