It is said that upto 30 lakh people had been killed of by tha Pakis and their corroborators. Tens of thousands of women were systematically raped and all intellectuals were killed. This is the technique mohammed Ghori, Ghazni and Timur used when they attacked India hundreds of yrs ago.The fact that it took 40 yrs for bangladesh just to think about punishing the criminals and the Pakis shows the impotence of the Bangladeshis. Radical elements enjoy support, whether elected or not. They gain even more support during times of crisis. Why else would temples and fellow Bengali Hindus be targeted in B'desh over Babri Masjid even when Indian Bengalis weren't really among those who destroyed the masjid?
Now both nations are getting into a water dispute over B'putra river. You think radical Islamic groups wouldn't use this to make it a Hindu-Muslim issue when things reach critical levels? Think again.

im a bengali, an old pakistani man that works wiv me..openley said to me the other day that he was a soldier of pak army in 1971 and that he was in dhaka at that time..he even said he gets pension, ..laughin about it, i couldnt belve wat he was sayin to me...i felt like ripping he's heart and eyes out.. but i believe in justice in the hereafter.

I am an Indian Muslim too and second the sentiments of H1926. India is secular at its core and occasional problems not withstanding it is a far better place for Muslims than is any of our neighboring countries. There are improvements to be made but our democratic institutions and laws are unbised even if people implementing it are not always so. But then we have hope of a better future but what can one say in favor of the theocratic state that has set itself up as our foe by its own actions.

This video is very sad in many ways, it doesn't mention anything about the mukti bahinis ( bangladesh freedom )who were at the front line and acctually done significant amount of dammage and paid with their lives. Instead it's all about the indian army hhmm.
Also pakistanis are soooo sick, it's unbellievable till this day they still try to justify their actions, what is wrong with these pakis? Sad to say they use islam as an excuse and say they were not islamic so they rape and kill. JUST SAD!

The reason why Indian Army achieved success so fast and so easily was beccause of the heoric role of the Bangladeshi Freedom Fighters(Mukti Bahini). They fought for long 9 months and broke the back-bone of the Pakistani army. The Indian Army fought a army which had already been defeated in most theatres. Indian army just finished the job. It was known as joint indo-Bangladesh force in the War.Its unfortunate the video didn't have any mention of the role of the Bangladeshi Freedom Fighters.

They would have been better off if Bangladesh had remained a part of United Pakistan. The muktis fooled the bengalis into separating away from PK, assisted by India of course.
