  • post how you made it

  • How many people thumbed this down... and didn't look at the photo in the description? *facepalm*

  • nice idea batman, i now need a 7 and 8 pin key to play with

  • @keithishere4266 It's a hobby. Consider it a puzzle of sorts. Some people like puzzles. Some people just steal the locks and collect them like stamps, lol.

Just a side not: locks don't keep you safe inside your home, they were actually designed to slow down intruders, not stop them.

  • @epohnopulse truth.

a lock isn't much good to you if someone kicks your door off it's hinges. or just decides they'll use an entrance that doesn't have some expensive bullshit attached to it

  • lol the key for that lock is wapped in tape and has lil metal pieces around it and some random crap he put in. A real tubolor lock pick wouldnt be this quick....

  • @elcubanito422 maybe its just a good pick.

  • nice looking home made pick

  • Props for the soundtrack ;)

  • S-Video Cable!

  • People who bash bids where people make homemade picks obviously have never picked locks before or know the principles behind how to do it. That pick is badass. Althought I'm too lazy to make 1 so I'd prolly just buy a tubular lock pick from southord or something lol.

  • Loooks like a Tv Coaxial plug to be , with the back taken off ??? stuck onto a normal flat key

  • what a retard it is the key to open it...he just wraped it up...dumbass

  • you are ignorant he dremeled out the groves and put small pins in place get a clue or stop bashing peoples sick vids

  • @bubblezq When I pause the vid I do not see any of the pins protruding along the pin grooves. It looks like tape holding the picks in place, that would not work because they would not be firm enough.

  • @thecheeseisgood12345 That's actually a pick, not just a key wrapped up. if it were the real key it wouldn't work with pins banded around it.

  • sonic youth

  • looks like you just wrapped that actual key with pieces of plastic...

  • omfg i think is the slot where u put the cable into ur TV

  • no its not

  • why not

  • well, i can send you a tutorial on how to make these to show you that you are in the wrong....

  • yes you can

  • how the hell is that homemade?

  • may the force go whit you

  • hey, ive got a question, what do you use for the little things you push down? and what toopl did you use to grind the divits into the key? like a bench grinder? a dremmel?

  • i used staples from a staple gun, they're bigger than normal staples but work perfect. for the grooves you can use small warding files.

  • there was a guy who made one of those and went cross county with his gf breaking in to vending machines... the cops estimated around $6200 was taken. so yea a universal tubular key can work if you make it right.

  • did they ever catch the guy?

  • About the vending machine theif:

Of course they caught the guy. You never hear about the good theives because they never get caught.

  • Gay

  • ya that would totaly work. it loocs just like a tubular pick

  • That's an awesome homebrew.

  • It's actually not fake. This type of lock pick really works. I can't tell if it's made correctly, but it looks like it from the resolution. I'm working on making one myself from WeedIsMyCheat.

How else do you explain he opened the lock?! LOL

  • the bic pen method does not work, only on a few very cheap tubular locks a few years ago, like bike locks, also, this does seem real, the principle is the same as a professional tubular lock pick, and looks just like other home made tubular picks.

  • you have no idea

  • WOOOT I WAS THE 100,000th View!!!

  • FAKE :( FTL!!!

  • Looks like the real key with some pins attatched to it :p

  • the only question I really have is what the hell is the lock supposed to be attached to? It looks like a Guitar/Amp cord.

  • fuckin rad tune

  • Nice!

  • so a nafa^^

  • I agree 100%

  • lol nice

  • naw i think thats just a similar key but it doesnt fit to that lock. he probly found the legth for all the shear points and set the pins on the key to that setting. Pretty clever shit

  • and I just made 3 and one of them works !

  • lol I believe this is real..

It uses the same principle as a normal tubular lock pick..

  • its fake the *pick* looks like the key to it lol with some pins taped to it.

  • you try making one of these "fake" picks

you will see it is real

  • nah ill just use a bic pen, or buy a real one.

  • use a bic pen how?

  • theres a tool out there that is exactly the same as that, a little better made but works just the same.. tube locks, gem axial solex kensington whatever you want to call them are the easiest locks to pick, its in the design. rounded top and bottom pins are rounded as to allow smooth operation aut also allowing easy manipulation..

  • crap

  • what the fuck ????????????????

  • okay this is fake. I OWN a tubular lock pick and even the real ones don't open a lock this fast. The tension on each pick has to be exactly the same so it wont work with just a rubber band. And the key would have to be grooved all the way to the head for the picks to slide in. This is just the user key with a bunch of stuff on it, thanks for wasting my time.

  • If your "time" was so important to you, you wouldnt be on youtube & waste your time posting this shit

  • The basic HPC tubular lockpick is sold with a rubber band holding the fingers of the pick. And it works...

  • and who says you cant mill each position of the blank til the bow? would take but a few minutes. This is actually a great idea. But like my teacher says "The pick isn't what opens the lock, it's the skill of the technician!"

  • But why bother when you can just use the key and make a short video to fool ignorant people into believing it's real. Sure it's possible but highly unlikely, if it was real then he would demonstrate opening multiple locks with it.

  • well that would be really lame. I still want to try making these for a few of the different keyways out there before buying the tubular picks.

  • this is (well maby not this one)very real, the thing with this vid is it looks like he already decoded that lock, these aren't magic it would open most tube locks, it would take longer than a minute though...i have one.

  • you have a home made one? Definitely something I want to try. It looks like it should work it's simpler and sturdier looking than the commercial tubular pick I have which is a piece of crap and I haven't yet gotten to work.

  • yes

  • You can. That's how I make tubular picks. But the close-up of this one shows what look like regular cuts.

  • WHat a fucking annoying noise in the background

  • la la la la la la la hahahaha ha ha hah ah

  • WTF dude...totally fake. It's just the key w/ crap wrapped around it. GOOD TRY!

  • thats not real u just put some strings around the real key!!!

    spammer!!!

  • dumb asses... if you just put pins around the REAL key it wouldn't fit. you have to cut grooves out for the pins to slide in. Then you secure the pins with a tight band. It works because you pull the pins out, as the key bottoms out the pins are pushed up as far as they need to because the pins are different lengths. Get a life and know what you're talking about before you claim fake!

  • how do u make it...directions please

  • directions? you mean instructions, and it's clearly fake.

  • Its just the key with a few pins.. hes using the key to open it.

  • looks fake

  • Your using the key as a pick so of course it will work.

  • Sneaky bugger. Nice one :o)

  • This is a blank key cut to 8 all the way around, then small metal shims are held in place at each pin with a rubberband. Works in the same manner as a southord pick, this is one way to use it, the other is to push each "shim" down individually.

  • This woulden't work. If that's a regular key, even if it's cut to an 8, the picks would hit the outside of the keyhole, even 1 pick let alone 7. The key would have to be groved to recess the picks. √out my vids.

  • That is all crap it just the freakin key with alot of stupiod glued or taped to the key to resemble it to a pick. If im wrong please notify me.

  • that is not the real key but instead it looks like its cut to all 8's and the way he uses it means its not the real key

  • nevermind he doesnt even pick it im a dumbass

  • Not very convainquant... I think that one is entitled to more informations on this strange key... isn't can?

    It smells like a fake.

  • If you bothered to look at any of the picks for this type of D Tubular 7pin lock, you'd realize that this is very similar in design. I think he did an awesome job modifying a blank in such an ingenious way.

  • Where the fuck did you learn english?

  • dude i wish i had one of those. I'm going to make one.

  • I agree. This is the actual key with crap wrapped around it to disguise it.

  • I disagree. It is similar in design to the southord tubular lockpick and i think it operates on the same principle, however i would need a better quality picture of it to say for sure

  • what a load of shit thats the real fuckin key with crap stuck to it lmao

you can opent then types of locks with ends of pens lol do a google surch on D locks and paper keys

  • can u teach me how to make it plz... thx alot..

  • all you really need is an uncut key, a dremel, a steady hand when using the dremel, some hair pins, some type of adjustable band to control the tension on the pins

  • Hi, could you do another clip with how the pick is made, and more info on operating it? It is a cool pick.
