  • oh yeah, that sounds pretty cool. do you know of any website that could tell me more about it?

  • in the Australian army what do you do at the base?

  • @MrOrangefruitdrink depends what your job is. If its a combat role you would mostly do physical training, shooting practice and yer

  • LOL FAIL 1:38 there marines buddy not ausies

  • @sicko1994 its an aussie apc..

  • @sicko1994 its an aussie apc......

  • @jamesboy46382 sorry ment 1:45

  • haha you cant bag the Aussie defence force as in every war we have been in we are highly succesfull and a leathal army. Vietnam is all the proof you need just serch it up, Aussie diggers where named "Phantoms Of The Jungle" and the VC have even admited that they feared the Aussies as we made no noise

  • Being a peacekeeper in the Solomans seems like a great job.

  • the only way to view these vids is from a logical rational point of view - all soldiers are trained to kill another humanbeing in that there must be huge psycological issues taking place maybe watching a vid or too is good for the soldiers mind because of course once u r trained to kill u can never really go back its too powerfull.I understand these feelings from finding my mother dead when I was 16 its tough out there and I learnt one thing it is ok to cry

  • Yes they are trained to kill but this rarely affects them until they have been to war and have had to personally witnes and participate in the killing of real human beings. However this is my personal opinion and I could be wrong. Another influencing factor could be how they were brought up as a child - loving back ground compared to a violent one.

  • @BeautifulPurity I am a rifleman beginning my training in march and Im not entering because i want to kill. I would love to go through my career without having to kill someone but think realistically. Its better we stop them over there rather than them come here and cause thousands of aussie deaths am I right? im not messed up in the head or anything its just another job that involves alot of danger

  • im sorry but how is it the anzacs when its jsut aussies ???

  • got ya there by the way dont watch my vids ull prob say the same thing - thus is a goot vodio

  • Well I did say Australian ANZACS in the title, not just ANZACS. Both NZ and Aust call our diggers ANZACS, but as I'm an Aussie I was making it a tribute to the Aussie part. Feel free to make a tribute to the NZ ANZACS.

  • mewvme:

    Over and out.

    very Best wishes:)

  • did he really say that?

  • actually ironhead8814 Rommel's word's where: If I had to take hell, I would use the Australians to take it and the New Zealanders to hold it.

which he said after encountering an only australian and nz infantry division.

    =D

  • Thanks for this vid mate.

    Thanks a lot.

Australian army ARE elite people don't think they are that they are justa normal army which they are but more elite than others look at the death ratio ohter special forces R.I.P more

  • theyll do alot more for there country then ever will and there not cowards or pedos they fight with more effectiveness then any other army in the world. so shut the fuck up you fuckhead.

  • vodkajonny dont you have better things to do than sit on youtube and write shit like that, your a grown man almost 50 and you come on here and insult australians, man you must be a lonely mother fucker, get a life

  • don't care wat u wankers think the aussie army is the best job in the world i get payed 50000 a year and i'm only 18, i get trained in every aspect of my job choice and i get to go home at night and know my days work has gone to a good cause. i get accomadation supplied, free medical and free dentle. that wage is the minimum and u can train has just about anything in there. so instead of bagging us out why don't u pussy harden the fuck up and go join the best jod u can ever have in life

  • Comment removed

  • @tash4clint Im going in as a rifleman in march and Im also 18...cant wait :)

  • lest we forget

  • I am proud to say in am in the RAN and my wonderful boyfriend in the Army.. He was deployed to Timor 3 days after asking me to be with him.. This video makes me so proud to be Australian and to be part of our armed forces.. To all our soldiers - Stay safe and know you have done your country proud..

  • everyday our soldiers put there lives on the line for wat we call australia, stay safe, stay calm and come home safetly luv our anzacs keep em from our borders guys.

  • the enemy tht is

  • this still makes my eyes teary with pride everytime i watch it. Thank God for Aussie fighting men and women-U do us proud evryday,in every part of the world. All of my extended family were Christian Lebanese soldiers b4 they became aussies-i would die gladly on a battlefield in defence of my beloved Australia!

  • AS an American that lives in Istanbul and with respect for the ANZAC alliance, in addition to being a WWI history enthusiast I travel regularly to Gallipoli. You cannot go there and not be moved by the sacrifice of a whole generation of ANZACS. If you have not yet been to Gallipoli I highly recommend it and if you are intersted in that war read L. A. Carlyon's Gallipoli. It is a well written account the ANZAC Gallipoli experience. God bless all of our troops.

  • Holy snappin' duckshit, how dare any of you goddamn simpering, whimpering saps sling off at any Aussie Soldier (fact - they are the best in the world & ALWAYS end up fighting others bloody wars side by side with the Yanks & Brits)

If you can read this, thank a teacher! If you can read it in English thank a fucking soldier morons!

  • Satan sandles or what ever you call yourself, glad your not australian.People like you talk as though all your privilages came at no cost. Free speach, freedom of religion ,free press didnt come from politicians, didnt come from unions or protestors-they came from soldiers-dont ever forget it dickhead.

  • Proud to be an Aussie!Coming from a Christian Lebanese background, the Anzacs are special to us.Our grandfathers & great Grand fathers fought the ottoman turks in ww1 in palestine. They were brutal with the Christians. even today the oldies hold these lions, these old diggers in the highest regard. ANZAC day to Lebanese Christians stands onHallowed ground.Thank you ANZACS,we will NEVER forget.

  • piss an aussie off and make sure you can do one of two things FIGHT OR RUN

  • Wonderful!

  • makes me proud not to be australian you fucktards

  • What is there not to be proud about?

  • What the hell are you talking about and what's your goddamn problem?

  • Do an aussie a favour, fuck off.

  • It makes me proud your not Australian either dickwit, and the best thing is they just introduced a test to stop scum like you living in Australia. It involves writing and reading, so your screwed on both accounts.

We just need to invent a drug to stop idiots like you breeding, but chances are your sister is your new girlfriend anyway, so your 3rd generation wont have any arms to type the shit you just did.

  • u coward..im guessing ur one of those fat mcdonalds people eyy...so us a favor and dont tell an aussie hes bad bcoz u are scumm..ull never be as good as an auzzie..infacnt not even an american

  • Awesome Video, Great Job....

  • Great Video, as other aussies have said, it really does make u feel extremely proud to be an Australian. We have a proud military history and our blokes overseas just keep doing us proud regardless of what it is.

  • Awesome work on the vid mate,It's always great to see our Diggers getting some recognition, also great to see comments from people in countries we're allys with.Redgum's song has an eerie truth about it that makes many a vet Digger teary.

  • Excellent video. I've seen quite a few of these type vids and some are great and some are just average; this one was just brilliant. Good on you, BeautifulPurity.

And more importantly - good on all the diggers who've done their jobs overseas, are doing their job now, and will do so in the future (maybe I'll be with them in a few years too, we'll see).

  • see that fake indonesian soldier shaking that diggers hand, i'd love to give those batards a proper bloody nose

  • yea good video mate lol well done on ya and the song was great for this video lol the aussies are one of our closst allies us being british

  • so many people here in the US forget about other countrys soldiers who are in harms way this is a great video and I'm going to tell all my mate's about it!

    thank you for sharing.

  • That song sends chills down my spine evertime I hear it, great vid.

God bless our troops, bring them home safely.

  • I Think you all have to agree when i say that thanks to the boys and girls operations overseas makes us

" Australia - The Greatest Country in the world "

  • If this was your first attempt pulling together one of these, then it was a bloody good one! God bless our diggers.

  • Great video, hope you can keep up the good work your doing for our country, serviceman and women. Love your videos.

  • Well done mate, u'v captured the all mighty Anzacs I hope all our soldiers come home safely. Im proud to b an aussie

  • Great

  • go aussie..

  • Bloody wonderful job

  • Its great to know that did this to recognize the hard work the diggers do

  • Great video, what is the name of that song, because I love it (american, never heard the band before)

  • Redgum - i was only nineteen

  • Not sure if you were told, but it a song called "I was only 19" by the band Redgum.

  • @BeautifulPurity if you going to get the song title right its , "A walk in the light green" by the band Redgum

  • @igloo2au73 actually maybe you should get your facts correct. They released this song under the title "I was only nineteen" on their "Caught In The Act Album" which they relesed in 1983. That is just an alternative name that it is also known by.

  • Really appreciate the video

  • No, sry not in the DF tho live near an Army base. I just have a lot of respect for those who are in it. For those interested I have done one on the Peacekeepers in Timor Leste and the Solomons.

  • Nice montage of the Australian Defence Force. Good effort. Music's purely Australian too, that's an added genuity.
