è un ottimaginnasta!Non dico che non meritava la medaglia d'argento ma con questa sua prova avrete capito che si può vincere una medaglia anche con una caduta come è successo nel 2006 a vanessa Ferrari e penso che le critiche fatte a vanessa siano inutile perchè poi è successo anche ad una ginnasta Americana, perlopiù che si allena in una delle migliori palestre di tutti gli stati uniti e con il padre di Nastia, mentre vanessa nella sua palestra non aveva neanche la pedana del suolo!!
I have given up on her doing any artistic flair coming from her. She's a good floor worker, but must she look like she's going to kill the world that's watching her brilliant performance? Has anyone ever seen her smile?
@lovepandas Lol.....she has gotten better at fluency, look at her balance beam and floor routines of day 1 of the national championships....and at least she changed her choreo and music, although I get the feeling that her new floor routine still doesn't suit her....
@chickwithbrains241 I've just gone to look at her new floor routine. The choreography's improved, I guess? But she looks like she's gonna kill more people now because her new happier song creates a bigger contrast with her facial expression than the '09 song lol!
@lovepandas Yeah, I know, right? She seems But I love her "b****, I will kill you" face....it just loses its effect a little on floor. She has an inflamed shin right now but placed 2nd in the all around at worlds and did awesome on bars and beam. :) Stuck her patterson on beam, I was so happy :)
I'm getting very annoyed with everyone saying that her choreography was bad. Well i have a couple reasons why her choreography and from isn't the best.
1. SHE'S ONLY 16
2. She's bow-legged which means her legs always look like their bent
@jeffdunhamfan22 I think she's actually the opposite of bow-legged (Dominique Dawes is bow-legged), Rebecca seems to be knock-kneed. And its not so much her choreography thats the problem as is her lack of artistry and expression. She just seems so stiff and as if she's just going through the motions of a memorized routine. If anything she could afford to be more fluent, the way Bridget is.
She is a very powerful tumbling but she can not dance to save herself. Her form is not the best either and if I have to choose between her and Sloan, I would gladly take Sloan anyday. Still I am aware she is only young (16) but what is it with the American girls having bad dance on fx, unless your Nastia Luikin who I thought was the new trend for USA . I guess I was delirious to think that all girls who train under Val Luikin would dance like his daughter..... silly me!
@serenenz - aghhhh annoys like hell to see Luikin's name brought into the conversation about the soviet gymnasts from the 70's and 80's like she is some kind of benchmark of grace and artistry.......IMO she got lucky, yes she was slightly better 'posied' than the rest due to her height and slight build, sort of danced, sort of posed and really didnt have any other COMPETITION on the artistry side to show her up as a 'poser' rather than a dancer.....ok sorry, rant over serenez !
@garyj79 Her medal record at Worlds and Olympics speaks for itself. You cannot attribute all of her world and Olympic medals to "luck." Do yourself a favor and re-read the history books.

Hoping Bross can overcome making HUGE mistakes in Major competitions. She made big mistakes to lose Nationals and Worlds. She gymnastics and look reminds me of Vanessa Atler. I hope she doesn't end up having the "mental" errors in her gymnastics career like she did.
