Wasn't a bad film. It is hard to adapt a film off of one of Ellroys novels. L.A. Confidential was once in a lifetime kind of thing and I don't think that anyone could adapt another one of his novels with an equal amount of success. It doesn't sound like the White Jazz adaption is going to go very well and I would be happy to see it work but I think it is unlikely.

interesting movie,, but i was so lost half way through it i didnt`know what was going on. It starts out as a boxing movie, then a shoot out at the same time the girl is discovered. Then he accidentaly meets one of the killers,, names thrown around,, i couldn`t keep track of who was who, or who was the good guys or bad guys. Very convoluted story line. Scarlett Johanssen stars out as a main character then dissappears for half the movie. What a mess.
