all i mean is that the whole point of buyin a wii is for the motion-sensor stuff (i mean if u wanted better graphics or something u would buy a ps3 or xbox). anyway, im just saying that a gc control takes that away, and turns brawl back into melee but with more characters etc...

What motion sensor stuff? I prefer good controls over bad ones. In essense, Brawl's just melee with more content and less physics exploits to speed up the fights.

I agree with you that the motion sensor-stuff dosent work very well for brawl, but it's the principle...

it's like using a gc control for mariokart instead of the (much more fun) wii-wheel, just in order to beat people easier.

PS:

there IS motion sensor stuff in brawl, they just dont work very well - eg. you can make a throwing motion to throw pokeball...but obviously it dosent work ery well and by the time you have thrown it the enemy is behind you kicking your brains out... XD

Exactly. Better. More features = better. Not only that, but perhaps we like Mario games, and wanted to play Twilight Princess. Brawl, even when played with a Wiimote as I do, requires nothing more to use than a gamecube controller's controls.

GC controller sensitivity > WiiMote's insensitive $ laggy response from the wireless. If you want to play something novelty, Wii-Mote is the way to go, but if you want to become technical in a competitive game, you play with what works best. GC controller works best with Smash.

PS: as innovative as Wii games are, most of them are just a few days worth of playthrough and that is it. Smash lifespan > other Wii games' lifespan. Console is just a console; ppl buy consoles for 'games'
