"Silver jade"? That's the color's name? Cause is just awesome. I'll be using it to restore my VW bug some day. Perfect restoration, a total beauty!!! Congrats!!

omg! i think ive seen your car when my dad was stationed in heidelberg, i could be mistaken though...i remember seeing a mustang, but i dont remember it being a mach 1 :S. great restoration!
@Bestdriv3r8 thanks!! the car was in germany around 18 years...it might have been in heidelberg. the color was blue when it got there in the late 80s. i picked it up from bremen a few years ago.
@v8austria yeah i was in heidelberg a few years back. but im not 100% sure, but im pretty certain that there aren't a lot of these over there, specially that color! but i could be wrong...
2 barrel? Might want to look into that. The 69 came with the Windsor and a 4 barrel. The original intake manifolds are hard to come by. The heads were set up for 4 barrel carbs, too.
@gorflunk i changed the 2B to a 4B and the performance is amazing now. when i did the engine build i considered using flat top pistons so basically i prepared everything before hand for the swap. coming by the right intake with the correct date took a while. thanks for the feedback bro!!
sweet 69 mustang!! i like the silver jade metalic paint!! not many people appreciate the subtle colors on old muscle cars... ive been wanting a 1970 mustang boss for years. i come across them alot for sale cheap. ususally around $3,500 to $5,000. just needing paint and accesories, and a tuneup. love the colors ford offered!! nice pony!! drive her right, and she'll take care of you.
NICE!!!!!!!!!! I want this car badly but first i have to fix up a 1967 Mustang (NOT FASTBACK) and then sell it so that i can try to get this BEAUTY! :D
Enjoyable video and great work on the car! But the side stripes are applied incorrectly. They do not run level from the rear marker light. A common mistake. The section behind the wheel well should angle slightly downward. The stripe in front of the wheel well runs straight - 6.5 inches (165mm) from the top of the stripe to the lower body crease. If this is not followed the stripe sits too high up on the car. The original factory application is much more pleasing to the eye.
Excellent restoration ..super video...great song. Just bought a the exact car last year...your video convinced me to keep it silver jade. Where did you buy the hood tach?
i was really sad by watching some abandoned mustang video.. and this really brought my happyness back, thanks for restoring it!
