  • nice video! nice speech also.

  • omg! what a perfect Vietnamese English speech.

  • i agree the academicians can't understand that theory does not apply to real world.

Here in Canada they still following the method in which they produce worker but has no place to work. School should start preparing student the abilitiy to start developing new business rather then teaching them in to fill in the limit shoes the world provide, and everyone is fighting to wear those shoes + population growth

  • The Vietnamese guy has the worst English accent. I barely understand him and his discussion becomes an unclear one.

  • This is a good information that we should watch and learn. Mr.Tam should practice and prepare more about his English because this is the world meeting, he's somehow representing Vietnamese education. Please no excuses, that's how we succeed in many ways. Vietnam is number 1.

  • this talk isnot about inglish, its about your and my futures

  • It's great how he pronounces "focus" in the 43rd minute. He sounds like he's saying "f*ck us".

  • Very difficult to understand Dang Thang Tam. He does not pronounce many English words properly and does not complete some words. Very distracting.

  • @MattyJCompton Use "CC". It's pretty accurate.

  • good video, looking forward to seeing more in the future

  • it's really really very informative and helffull discussion . Thank you :)

  • I'm sorry but Dang Thanh Tam's English accent is too bad. He needs to train more.

  • @Dammio Right, he needs a lot of improvement in grammar and word-choice too.

  • Academicians do not understand how the business world really works, its dirty. Future of Asia should be based on Technology, Engineering, and Bioscience. Education should not teach students how to be in a corporations, but the ability to create skills that generate small businesses and to think.

  • I'm high school student from Vietnam. I've listened to this long conversation and this made me thinking a lot about Vietnamese education system. It still doesn't show us how to maximize our strong point. Besides, students are focus too much on the theory, so we don't know how to choose what career to follow. That causes many students try to move abroad to have a better education and career as well. I think Vietnam should apply a new education method from global education system.

  • Mit den Untertiteln ist das prima zum lernen der Englischen Sprache :)

  • @stegano1987 maybe they should directly speak in their own language and you wouldn't be here bragging, would you deutscher Man? :))

  • I am 18 and i have been listening to this long conversation, about the education; this conversation has got me thinking alot about, what school's are doing to us. What I have realized is from this meeting and learning from my real experience is many of people of our generation "My generation" . Dont know what or should i say have not found our potential in our area of interest until it is too late. Such as entering high school. Many of my peers do not know what they want to do. Also they dont

  • Fascinating meeting of Minds.

  • I just listening nothing to comment.

    Thanks for sharing video.

  • I totally disagree that Government or ministries should collaborate with businesses. Businesses and Government should be always separated entities.

  • @theartofluv Typical American orthodoxy modern Marxist/ communist countries no longer apply central control of the economy. Because they have adopted and overcame the problems that come with central planning. It is the duty of the government to assure that its citizens have shelter, food, water, health care, education etc.... The Ford motor company in the 20's introduced profit sharing between ownership and workers. What is the difference if it is the government ownership or private.

  • I feel so shy coz of the English of the chairman, Vietnamese, acac

  • @Hongleson: if you are embarrassed, you should learn as much as possible to be excellent at using English... Because in the next 5 years it might be your turn to go out and compete.. Good luck..

  • @Hongleson their English is good, way above my expectation. i mean you know at their age they may be more comfortable w Russian. it's just their accent plus pronunciation tt make them not understandable.

  • @Hongleson What do you mean? CEO Dang Thanh Tam should be an good example for every Viet generation to learn if they want to be rich.... Even though Mr. Dang Thanh Tam got accent of speaking but who does not since English is not his first language? U people should look at what he can do rather than his accent...he is one of the richest guy in VN and he did not get there by speaking good English you moron..

  • @Hongleson some person can't help keeping their accent when speaking a foreign language, particularly with asiatic language. I guess you would also be very funny to listen to while speaking... let's say german, wouldn't you? You wouldn't be boasting that way.

  • Discovered in 2003:

The underlying law of nature may be the world's most useful, profitable and encouraging knowledge.

e.g., It is the most effective and efficient means to improve the performance of any process.

Great personal, economic and societal advantages exist to identifying the underlying law of nature first hand, for oneself, and to understanding and applying its principles.

Bing or Google it as a start.

  • i am listening and there is no structure to this thing. It is all over the place. I would like more sticking to one topic, one question and solve one by one, but maybe that is difficult to do when we are discussing a topic that hardly anyone has perfect answer and where time is restricted.

    what is your opinions? thanks

  • @madsharukh I agree with the American guy. Technical schools should have more honor. I am currently working for my Masters degree in Education (History) my friend that served in the military with me and got out at the same time is currently earning 90,000 dollars a year working as a construction worker while I make zero dollars as a student. Seven years at a University with no income compared to seven years of income in a technical field with a higher earning capability is a no brainier.
