one of my favourite islands of all time....they are setting a very nice example to the world....in terms of energy self sustenance the faroe islands could do the same

This community is wonderful! We all know by now that "man-made climate change" was a hoax by the political and scientific communities. However, being locally self-sufficient is a VERY worthy goal. This island has the advantage of having a kindred people who all know and can trust one another. This is something people all over the world can learn from. Your community may need different solutions. Still, if you keep your people, culture and community together you can overcome any problems.
