You watch Cliff play Master of Puppets or any song from the first three albums you see a fire in him that neither Jason nor Rob have. They come close, but not quite there. Person who makes a song knows the nuances of it and obviously enjoys it more. Your point doesnt really have any logic, only thing it shows how much you think more of Jason than of Rob.

The reason why everyone hates on Load/Reload is because Metallica totally changed who they were. They cut their hair, they got a whole new staff, and their music changed. People arent used to change. People dont like change. I think some of their best titles came from Load/Reload-and the Black Album. But a lot of people like the old stuff, and always wished Metallica stayed with the old stuff like Master of Puppets, Justice etc. Truth of it is..time changes. People change. For better or worse.
