Stewball Max deserves ALL tributes and dedications that come his way. He especially appreciates vintage folk songs. Thanks for the upload and ***** sort of cheapens it but what can I say? LOLL!!!
Thank Goodness your forefathers new Mr Kodak otherwise this masterpiece could have been lost to all. Do you think that the different tune played by your gt gt grandfather also inspired Boy for sale from Oliver? LOL
I actully LOVE the modified melody as it adds a certain poignancy and extra charm to these now classic lyrics. I am so tickled pick that I now have a cjwaywell rendition to add to my STEWBALL playlist. Man,this You Tube thing is a blessing.
Many thanks for this passion-driven and ugent rendering,Chris. I am very touched and inspired.
We are so lucky to have this old film preserved for posterity. The quality of the picture seems to improve right at the very end!

I can really see the cjwaywell family resemblance in this old footage.

A very nice dedication and one I have a strong feeling went straight into Max's Stewball playlist. Wonderfully done, Chris.

Thanks so much for sharing this, Max. I think I may be enjoying all the varied versions and performances of "Stewball" as much as I know you do.

I know the song Stewball in another version. I didn't know this version before!
It is slower and more sad.
