you can play online you just need a keyvault u will be banned from time varying from 2 hours to 3 days usually around 4-6 hours but in rare cases even 3 or 4 days

@9sdsu5 Nope, 73xx or lower. Basically if your 360 hasn't been online or was made before July '09, then its pretty certain its JTAGable.

I'm going to get a JTAG so how hard is it to mod halo? and do you need to have the lpt cable still connected to the xbox to mod halo because the one I'm buying the guy removed the cable but it still has Xell and XBR v3 so can I still mod halo 3 and mw2 without the LPT cable?

No you do not need the LPT connected still. It isn't an easy task to mod halo or call of duty. Halo is quite easier, though. And halo cant go online at all with these mods (yes ive tested it) and with MW2 you have to know some C++ (programming language) to be a good hoster at all. Plus it take 8-10 hours a day to manage lobbies and a few hundred to get a few free lobbies to make people trust u.

If you are doing this to mod MW2 online...dont, your just gonna waste your money.

@bullmastif921 u use a transfer cable ot a usb to put the map on ur computer mod it with alteration once your done put it back on your usb or hard drive open xexloader insert the map into the game and play it

It cost $70 to use these online for 4 hours. Not gonna waste it on online halo :P plus, you would have to have my map in order to load. So it wouldn't work lol.

I really want to build a JTAG but i think Id feel like I'm in over my head, do you have any pointers for someone who isn't to good at soldering?

Tin tin tin!!! make sure solder is on your wire before you solder to the hole.

Heat up microsofts crappy solder first, directly heat up microsofts solder on the holes before heating your wire up to stick in, microsofts solder moltens at a very high temp (which is bad)

Always use a fine tip

tape before you solder small holes so there isnt excess stress on the board...ripping solder holes out is BAD BAD BAD.

I do sell JTAG's for 200 for an xenon and 300 for everything else if your interested

why are xenons 200? are they less reliable? but I am interested and I'll get back to you for more information in the near future. also, if I buy them do they come banned so i would have to buy a new KV to take it online?

yes, and then that kv would be banned within a couple hours. And yes, xenons are 200 because they are the older motherboards. I do the hybrid fix to help lower the chances of the red ring.

I really really doubt that. They used to last a week, now they are down for 4 hours. And probably going to shorten more soon. I would be interested in seeing some proof of the kv lasting a week for the current date.

I would gladly show you but I don't have a JTAG yet XD and a few people have unbannable JTAGs so there are obviously a few ways to make it stay unbanned for a little while longer. My friend took his JTAG online last weekend and he had it online for at least 12 hours but he had a spare KV so he unbanned it quickly and we r going online with it again this weekend to mod MW2 up :3
