I have a female that looks similar to this except it has a blackish head and thorax and a yellowish greenish. It could be male but I think is saw three spikes.
Is this an Asian cricket or a type that you could catch in the US? Is this the type that would fight with another male cricket? Very interesting creature :)

that is a male cricket it is digging to eat any eggs that it finds if you plan on breeding then put fine metal mesh over the dirt. hope this helps
