  • Like Tesche's playing of the well-known New Orleans clarinetists' cliche at the start of his solo as if to say "See, I know the tradition!"

  • Thank You! You have just introduced Me to Me new FAVORITE version of this song.

  • Thanks! Unfortunately not the original issue.

  • @Atticus70 Maybee! But the issue it`s on is just as rare! I Would have never known about these reissues had it not been for this awsome post. It`s neet to also note that Paramount did not change there logo (only in choice of print color) like the later issues from Columbia`s Harmony label that changed label color kept the same logo. I LOVE THIS!!! Brunswick collector series used a much less attractive logo then it`s original issues. Needless to say it`s to DIE FOR! Thank You so Much.

  • @Atticus70 Are you implying you have the original issue?

  • Nice disc! This is a 14000 series 1940s Steiner Paramount disc, using silver instead of the gold type used on original discs. These had run-out grooves and were either re-recorded or dubbed from original Paramount discs.

  • Great all star recording with a group of great players.

  • Hot stuff! Love it!
