  • Invesigator if you don't like it then fuck off back to your own country you filthy paki prick

  • Best part about the uk? being away from americans

  • I am a Briton of Pakistani descent and hate those who like the British. Why do Americans, especially those who are white, like Britain so much when the country is populated by pufters and atheists?

  • @Invesigator you missed pakis off your list

  • I live in the North of England and my favourite thing is that we have one the greatest sense of humour.

I mean in Britain you can insult your friends constantly and it's all fun and games because we don't often take it seriously. Also you learn to hold your own in arguments and fights.

And most of all...... the Geordie accent. Can you think of a better tool to use in any situation outside of the country? my Uncle scared of three foreigners trying to mug us just with his voice. Can you beat that?

  • Well 98% of this country ( U.K) we don't believe in God so there is no Laws that are directly from the Bible ( as in the U.S. legislation) . if you go to London you will be told NOT to go to the North of England. The North has the best nightlife, Liverpool, Newcastle, Leeds, and Manchester are probably the best in England. Guns are illegal. you can support whatever party you want and not get jailed . I thank you

  • dont know i love living in england

i love our accents and how varied they are especially scouse

    the comedy

    the contryside

    liverpool fc

  • Our armed forces! We may not be the wealthiest or biggest but we have Heart and pride! :)

  • I am British and the best thing about us is undeniabley our humour!

Note the 'u' in humour, cus thats how its spelt over here. ;)

  • heyyyy im british!

    i love being british!

the best thing is the pride you have

i live in oxford 1 of the wealthyest places in england!

but i dont act posh! soo!!!

i say the best thing is the pride!

  • I'm british and the best thing about our country and its people is how understated we are.

  • hey my moms surname is jones and i beleive we may have some british decendents. her grandfather is white american and his surname is jones. it is a popular surname as well on the east coast of the united states and i am actually from florida wich is a south eastern state. so could i possibly british. i hope so because i love britain as well.

  • @jamrock391 jones is a welsh name

  • Heritage

  • Erm I like that our accents are weired especially where I'm from coz we don't say 'I'm going to the shop' we say 'am off t`shop' there is no such word as `the`

  • I know it's a bit late:

To be honest I don't really like anything that's traditional for a 'British' person, like myself, to like. No I don't like tea, no I am not posh and Marry Poppins is one of the most rubbish movies I have ever seen . If you go to a place like Surrey (it may be rich but it really isn't that posh) It's nice. I guess if I had to choose one thing it would be our TV! What's your main channel in America? Ours is BBC 1. At the moment it is hot! (well for us anyway! and in April!)

  • Fish and Chips Music NHS BBC London Stratford Upon Avon The Lake District Scotland (avoid Glasgow) Welsh castles The Royal Family (mostly due to history) The English language Our Armed forces Our driving (on the left) Drinking tea Free museums (where available) Anglo-American history stretching back from 1776 to the Normans, the Saxons, the Celts and the Romans. A history that puts us at the heart of Europe and even to Greek based democracy and of course Judo-Christian values.
  • I'm from Belfast, So I'm technically British, but of course when i say That I get threatened. Britian as a whole isn't that great, it's basically how America was in the late 90's, but with the same fashion and problems, oh and there's chavs. Lots and Lots of Chavs.

  • @HighClassFailure Ignore the threats. As long as you want to be British, we should be proud to have you.

Any idiot terrorist lovers out there, please post onto my profile so I can put you right.

  • im from bradford in yorkshire and i LOVE a nice cuppa tea

  • The best thing being able to get out of Britain.

  • Well ...

    I am from England :,)

    It is a nice country

    Apart from the weather :,)

But there is good days too

If you want to know a little more about England well send me a message and I will tell you everything you need to know :,)

  • best things about being english : alton towers, thorpe park, how we have regional accents (not just one) tv programmes (Inbetweeners!!), humour, sports and commitment to our teams. :D

  • I love the way we brought out a book called "Crap Towns", and then had to bring out a second book entitled "Crap Towns 2" because so many people had complained that their town wasn't in it.

Seriously, if scientists could harness the power of British Complaining, we'd be set for life! "Bloody light's out again.... Oh, it's back on now!"

And yes, I watch Mock The Week.

  • The best thing about being British is that I didn't grow up in the states. lol :p

  • @nawbdbest sorry for bombarding your comment area here, but that was a harsh accusation.

I'd go on about England's morning TV programs, but you say you're gonna go there.

So, when you ask yourself "Why the TV programs are so stupid?", go back to my original comment where i mention how the majority of people in England have the mentality of cows.

This is not so much an insult than the reality that you will find when you get there.

    I wish you the best

  • You should check out The Blighty Traveller website if you want to know what it is like to travel around Britain :)

  • @rosstcorbett . then take a closer look at the travelling aspect in order to make your judgment.

When the Swedes, Germans, Danes, Dutch and French travel Europe, they usually travel with loads of money, spending it, living it up in fancy hotels, and leaving the country with complete dignity.

With the English, its another story.... pan-handling, sleeping on benches.

Like it or not, the English are the bums of Europe.

What other city than London has a cardboard city?

    Poverty struck you are

  • @justcallmejoe - We could go on talking all day long but there is no way you have been to England, your are just one of these nobodies who goes around the internet preaching about things you know nothing about! And coming from a Canadian :) Don't make me laugh! :)

  • Think what you like limey.

  • @justcallmejoe lolthere isnt no logic to the word limey

  • @Curt1233brit You need to watch more Nabdbest videos, as she has devoted an entire video to the word

  • @justcallmejoe no what i mean is, limey as in lime? where green, made of citrus?, there is logic in the word yankee for new yorkers but limey?

  • @justcallmejoe for further noticed id like you to refrain from saying England is in Europe it is not we merely tolerated Europe like like a prostitute tolerates herpes honestly the last time i was in France i was shocked at how many Arabs there were over 10 million of the bastards according to wikipedia soon the mainland is going to be over run with the fuckers and will have Sharia Law forced upon them .

  • @rosstcorbett

Some facts about the homeless in London:

some 20,000 people in London are living in temporary accomodation and are classed as homeless. This does not include people living in bed and breakfast or squats.

a street count conducted in 1991 found 1,275 people sleeping rough in London.

in May 2000 a street count held one night found 436 people sleeping rough in 10 inner London boroughs.

an estimated 1,180 people sleep rough in England every night.

There is no city in europe like this

  • I'm in Toronto Canada, but i spent 13 years in Europe, including 9 months in England(Leeds and London).

I hate to disappoint you, but England is without competition, the worst country in the European union, to live in or visit.

One might think its more advanced than other countries, but in fact it hasn't really come out of the dark ages.

The majority of people are in the mental state of cows.

I know i might sound like i'm hating, but I'm seriously being as honest as i possibly can.

    Sorry.

  • @justcallmejoe it's fair to say you are an idiot. i'm not hating, just trying to be as honest as possible.

  • @justcallmejoe What a load of rubbish! I can understand you not liking Leeds but the rest of it is just laughable. Britain is one of the most advanced countries on earth, if you really lived in England you would know this which is making me wonder if you have ever been at all. I think I can smell a liar in the room :)

  • @rosstcorbett Advanced? in what way exactly?

In the way that you still have machines in the wall, where you put 50p coins in order to get half an hour of electricity?

The monetary system in England is about the least advanced world-wide when you look at the numbers.

That's why the media constantly pumps out images of children starving in Ethiopia, to show the English how well off they are.

Leeds was my favorite place in England, so yeah.

  • @rosstcorbett The average englishman really doesn't have much to live for other than a pint on a friday night...its very depressing when you see how better off people are living elsewhere.

The english remain in this self delusion of pride for their tyrant nation.

On a positive note, Landbrokes and William Hill serve to be two of the best gambling houses i've ever set my eyes on.....If you're a gambling man, england is definitely your place, there are gambling shops all over the city.

  • You should visit Oxford street, best shopping there. (I'm a true Brit, i can shop)

  • Everything about Britain is great

  • Hahaha yeah totally me too...im dying to go to England just to see place..like absolutely DYING

  • WE GOT THE ONE SHOW BABY!

  • Britain really isnt all that good :/ i guess if you go up to newcastle you would have alot of fun if you mixed with the people and some area's of london are brilliant but otherwise theres not alot here

  • I was actually born in London haha.... I'm not even part American... My mother was the only person in her family not born in Germany, because her family came over to USA before she was born, but her older siblings were born in Germany, and my dad is British... I know, weird mix.

  • Its Crap there. I live there and tbhh its absolutely shitt:. But it might be nice in like the nicer places but here its just full of CHAVS! :/

  • @georgiaerexx Really O.o What part of England do you live?

  • @georgiaerexx IT SO IS !!! THANK GOD SOMEONE PUT IT OUT THERE. MOST OF ENGLAND IS FULL OF SHIT !!

  • For me the best things about being British are the humour, the accent and of course not forgetting the S.A.S!

  • the accent, london, the big ben, the houses of parliament.. kind of everything :)

  • i am english and errr humm we have lego land :P lol jokes

  • The North of England :D

  • London is by far the best thing about England bar Robert pattinson
