You guys have to realize the landing radar is underneath the descent stage but a bit ways from the ground compared to those 3 landing probes extending from the footpads. The actual altitude readings are measured from the point of the landing radar and not the extended probes. That accounts for the apparent differences you're seeing from the perceived -vs- actual altitude just before the landing.

The '24 feet' call is surely there and I have no idea what it meant... maybe something blurted out in the excitement (Which kinda hints that they actually went there) of the landing? Even with contact probes measuring 5 ft, the LM altitude need not be measured from its footpads, especially coz the descent stage is left on the moon. With a reference point within the ascent stage the 'premature' contact could happen even around 14 ft.

At 4:25 you start to see the shadow of the contact light probes. In another 10 seconds the 'contact light' call is made. The dust movement is intense. The LM touches town almost immediately. Any reasonable person can tell that they are close to the ground.

FYI Stray. The replica moon that NASA used for training purposes had NOWHERE near the detail this video and all the other videos have. The replica was used to help the astronauts get familiarized with the area they would land on. There's mountains of evidence of fakery, along with many contradictory and erroneous "moon trip" stories from the men who allegedly landed there 42 years ago.

imo, the science that proves Apollo was a sham is the fact that no animals were sent into & beyond the Van Allen Radiation belts before NASA allegedly sent 24 humans to the Moon during 9 missions.. The Soviet turtles and mealworms sent up during Zond don't count, as they can withstand huge amounts of radiaition, where humans can not.
