It's Squall's eye. And you're right. I always wondered about the shape too. It's really weird.

@balamb25 By the colour I always thought that was Edea's eye after she'd defeated Squall with the ice attack in the cutscene, interesting cause I thought Squall's eyes were gray and sorceress' were that gold kind of colour. But still. I <3 the video, and brilliant job :)

I always thought it was Squall's drifting closed and that the color was due to a reflection of the fire...but I went and rewatched that scene with your point of view. You could be right, the sounds during that scene make it seem more like Edea. XD oops lol
