I'ts normal to use a bit of oil while it's breaking in, drive it a little harder to make sure it breaks in well. Add a bit of oil, perfectly normal for a breaking in diesel.
Hi no the engine is fine but inside the car on the computer in the car dashboard it says well it did say 100% but it say 25% now but their is lots of oil still in the engine and on the dipstick.

@colxdark The Vauxhall/Opel Astra (call it what you wish) has a 1.7 Isuzu engine (diesel) or a Fiat 2.0 (diesel) or GM petrols

@ClarophonistCJ on the old model it did, but not now... fiat used to build the 1.9 and there were two versions of the 1.7 in the H model. Also a 1.3.
