What a sad and sorry state of affairs this whole Al-Durrah blood libel was. I remember the Daniel Pearl be-heading video featuring this fallacy in the background and I remember the images of two soldiers being lynched because of this propaganda. I pray for those who lost their lives because of this and I pray for those who perpetuate this myth.

Great video, I actually have the Al-dura videos on my favorites, or at least,t he investigation into them. They're easily proven wrong. Same as the Gaza beach tragedy.

If one googles the name Mohammed Al-Dura, go to Wikipedia, scroll down to the bottom: 'In February 2008 Jean-Claude Schlinger, a ballistics expert appointed by the French court, submitted a report indicating that IDF gunfire could not possibly have killed al-Dura. The report concluded that if gunfire had killed the boy, it must have come from the Palestinian position.'

Do not forget what Pals did as revenge for this staged video - they mutilated two Israeli soldiers.

I've seen that video before, broadcasted by TV, or here, on UTube, by muslims.

And I felt very ashamed, it hunted me.

I firmly believe that no soldier on our side would knowingly and willingly kill children.

It cannot be, we don't stand for murder!

(And if it did happen it was only an accident, unavoidable).

On the other hand, we know only too well what muslims are capable of when it comes to lies and propaganda.

look for 'three bullets and a dead child'... a fairly serious documentary done before this input was released, but it's still a well made documentary where everyone is talked with; the father, mother, coroner(?), some Israeli soldiers from the outpost... good documentary.

I don't see this man's lies/blood-libel are necessarily related to a religious belief.

Sure, the majority of the Arab world are Muslims, but there's a growing culture of politically motivated 'The Truth™' presentation/perception on history.

These lies are, best I'm aware, culturally motivated; and while Islam is an integral part of the culture, so is 'despotism' and 'patriarchy' which could/should be blamed for nurturing a doublethink-1984 frames of thought.

Even if it was real, a few scars are the least to expect of a war... And unless that doctor is an actor, you can tell when someone's lying and that doc seemed to be telling the truth.

Actually, the father seems reasonably believable on 'three bullets and a dead child' (the cameraman, Talal Abu Rahmeh is not).

However, this injury shown by the doctor is clearly an operation incision and not a bullet injury... and Israeli hospitals have a history of treating wounded Palestinians, Jordanians Iraqis and any Arab that is in need despite the ongoing war.
