  • Beautiful! Thanks you for this :-)

  • You have no idea how much I love your arrangement of this song. It would mean the world to me if you could tab it. I lack the ability to play difficult arrangements by ear. I would love to learn this and play it in Church, but I would have to have tabs first. Any way you could find it in your heart to do that??

  • Can I get the notes and chords for that? Or would you have sheet (guitar) music for that?

By the way, it sounds really beautiful. (5 star)

  • love it! great job, gotta love DADGAD i did this song in same tuning.

  • This is one of the music that I feel worth paying for to be in my iTunes!

    Really!

  • Fantastic!

  • Perfect!!!!

  • thanks for the upload.. i'm blessed =)

  • Jordan, Have you made tabs for this yet? I too am having a hard time getting the chords to match you. Are you tuned to 440? By the way, you have been a blessing for me and inspiration. I love your style of playing and only wish I could have you teach me. Thanks for inspiring and keeping my dream alive. God bless.

  • @apsalmofdavid it may not be in straight up 440, but i'm not in standard tuning either. i'm in DADGAD. that may help. but no, i haven't tabbed this guys. sorry. :(

  • Beautiful playing my friend

  • A beautiful arrangement of this great old hymn and very well played. You are using your talents very well"

  • That was so beautiful, I didn't even notice the dog. Praise the Lord.

  • This is beautiful. I've never heard it picked out on a guitar before, but I like your style. Sounds great. Have you ever heard it on a harmonica?

  • Beautiful!!!!.. More, More, More! .....

  • Wish i was that good :O sounds perfect good job :)

  • SICKKKKK, your good :)

  • you should make a video on how to play this song

  • Hi,

You and Cynthia Clawson take a simple melody and turn it into a paean, exalted above itself by the addition of love.

    Bless you and keep you.

  • can you send me the tabs to this, or post a tutorial! great job

  • Your playing is good

I'd like to konw where to get the score. Thanks

  • GREAT DUDE AWESOME!!! keep praising GOD!

  • AWESOME 5★★★★★

    best regards Ernesto...

    God Bless You

  • Very very nice, but you ought to kill that dog!

Please make another version, that is longer, and without the dog!

Great stuff! Nice sound on the guitar!

  • "that dog!" lol. Dixie would be horrified if someone called her that out loud. ;) yeah, she can be noisy. I doesn't like birds. there were birds that day, she was protecting the house from invasion.

  • But, can you please record another version, a longer one. Please? Your playing is great! I love it

  • Well played, praise to God.

  • Very beautiful. God bless You.

  • Excellent;beautiful.

  • ohhh that was an awesome play!

  • That was awesome. ( Even with the dog barking in the background :^) )

  • can I get the tabs to that?

  • sorry brother, i have never made tabs for this. it's in the DADGAD tuning if that helps.

  • I know i've only found your vids recently but evrything i listen to has got a mesage of somesort. thank you.

  • Nice

  • Hi! This is a great arrangement, I'd love to pick this out for a church special. I play in DADGAD quite a bit and I'm sitting here with guitar in hand, but I'm having a hard time getting these chords to match you! Is this definitely DADGAD - is there maybe a string or two different? If you could help me out, I'd really appreciate it! blessings!

  • no, it's true dadgad. any spot in particular chord-wise you're getting hung up on, you can let me know and i can tab that chord for you.

  • oh man, this is funny - so I figured out the problem, and i'm dumb - I didn't see your capo on 2! its just barely out of the frame for the entire video! no wonder I just couldn't get the open strings to sound right! I watched your "somewhere over the rainbow" and saw the capo. makes perfect sense now. :)

  • Very nice. Did you figure this out by ear?

  • yes, but don't be impressed with that. the tuning i use makes it way easy. lol. i'm a cheater.

  • can u do a tutorial for this please

  • Great!!!

  • kewl

    this is really nice

  • B - E - A - U - T - I F - U - L....

  • Just beautiful...please do more hymns like this one! This is a lovely rendition.

  • A man once stood before God, his heart breaking from the pain and injustice in the word. "Dear God," he cried, "look at all the suffering and distress in the world. Why don't you send help?" God responded, "I did send help. I sent you." - David J Wolpe

Thank you for this beautiful song and playing. I listen to it every day! :)

  • this is amazing. could you do "Come Thou Fount"?

  • Wow! That truly sounds beautiful. You did a great job and nice playing.

    ~Derek

  • String your guitar with Elixir strings, go kick that dogs guts out and record this song again ;)

  • haha. elixir is all i use. and actually, i'm sure my dog would love to keep her guts. but it's a nice thought.

  • Was your guitar in standard tuning when you played this? By the way I have really enjoyed watching all of your videos.

  • no, it's in DADGAD. and thanks. :)

  • great,,^^

  • Do you have this in a tab format that you'd be willing to share?

  • sorry, i don't have this tabbed yet.

  • very musical and very worshipful. you have a lot of talent, and you are letting the Lord work through you to bless others -- thanks for sharing.

  • that wasnt good at all.....it was brilljant :) mag die here jou seen, vir ewig :)

  • that was simply beautiful. how did you become so skilled, other than a blessing from the Lord. God bless ya

  • well you nailed it, only by God's blessing, of course. there's no "other than", just God.

  • Great version! Super fingering. Where do you live? We need you at our church!

    - Craig -

  • haha, i'm from the southwestern u.s. thanks for the comments.

  • What is the tunning to this piece?

  • DADGAD is what i use all the time.

  • The things of the world will grow strangely dim....beautifully ensampled here...the guitarist continues playing so beautifully without a moment's hesitation despite the barking dog (the things of the world) yaps away. Well done.

  • Beautiful rendition on an acoustic guitar! God Bless!

  • Thanks for sending this as a response to my arrangement. Your version is beautiful. You show great promise and I look forward to keeping up with your videos.
