  • Fed Ex Ground must be SLOW as balls. Am I the only one who thinks the "message" of this contradicts what Fed Ex wants people to believe? They want people to know that their Ground service isn't slow...that names don't always describe the thing they are naming, yet, in this spot, that idea is re-inforced. Names do describe what they are attached to. It's not clever, it's confusing. Bad creative, but at least it's executed well.

  • I worked for Fedex as a courier for 5 years. I left a few months ago. Best decision of my life. Here is some truth. Fedex does not care about their employees at all. They cut our raises from twice a year to once a year. There are NO incentives at Fedex. NONE. You are PRESSURED to make your on-road goal every week. Yet, these hypocrites preach safety first all the time. Be safe....BUT YOU BETTER MEET YOUR ON ROAD GOALS OR IT'S A LETTER!! They FORCE the employees to do doubles.

  • FedEx Ground is actually delivered by subcontractors. They do not work for FedEx. They are very slow. My last package arrived 9 days late.

  • You should call and complain then, so they can get feedback about crappy contractors. Although - at least in my area - FedEx Ground isn't subcontracted, but I think FedEx Home Delivery is, that may be what you're thinking of. Personally, I've never had a package from UPS or FedEx so much as a day late, and I get nearly 50 shipments/year.

  • i used to work for FedEx Ground as a package handler. they treat your stuff like shit, they dont give a damn. thats why its so fast. i road with a truck driver one time for extra cash to deliver packages, they throw your shit like nothing. do not use fed ex

  • Yeah. 'Cause nobody at UPS or DHL does those things. Seriously, like every company in the world, there are good employees and bad employees. I don't work for anybody, but I've had great service from both UPS and FedEx. Still, the only way to ensure something doesn't get kicked around is to either a) put it on a pallet and ship it truck, or b) drive it yourself.
