  • This must be part of why Shuttle cost 1.7 billion per launch. Compare this to falcon9 which carries the same amount of people, is much safer, and only cost 50 million. If you have 2 falcon9's (one for cargo, one for people) that equals what the Shuttle does at a savings of 1.69 billion dollars.

  • Dear All,

I have some questions about psychology:

    (1) Why do we want to travel to space?

    (2) Why do we feel that space exploration is so exciting?

    (3) Why do we enjoy the feeling of zero gravity and floating in the space?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

  • @applesweeter

    (1) Space is the final frontier. Humans MUST find a new place to live when this planet gets too crowded. Some people waste NASA funds studying climate change when we could be looking for other planets.

    (2) Space achievement is a true measure of a country's greatness. TV shows like Dancing with the Stars are a measure of a counties dumbness.

    (3) We do these things not because they are easy, because they are hard.

    (4) Space related advancements benefits everyone.
