There is a much easier tuning.

If you tune the guitar to D-A-D-D-A-D most of the chords are open and it is much easier to play.

hey man, ive had that problem too, but the thing is you dont bring hte second string up, you bring it down. Some of the tabs say that you bring it up, but thats wrong. You tune it DOWN. Trust me, its gonna get real loose, but thats how you tune it to D.

just a tip for the verse...the 3 5 8 fret or any other frets that you are playing 10 12 whatever...on the E string thats tuned to B try not to push down so hard, it makes the string bend because it is tuned down so low...just a tip. I was doing the same thing until someone brought it up to me. Nice cover though, btw!
