  • This song is great! I love this saying, “Follow your bliss.” I just recently watched a documentary, Finding Joe, based off the work of Joseph Campbell, who originally said that. It is a great film about Campbell’s philosophies on life and how he has inspired so many people. It is great! bitly . com / tke 38E? r= bb

  • One of my favorite song from them...

  • This band is so cool. I'd love to know them personaly

  • @tranquil65

They wouldn't want to know someone as pointless and ordinary as you. If you tried to approach them they'd call the cops and have you busted for stalking.

rofl! exactly my point. you clearly have anger management issues a fact which means you should be locked up with the other lunatics!

er, you can delete your death threat comments to me here on this channel but they are in my inbox anyway, you idiot. take a valium and calm down!!!

  • One of my all time favourite tracks.

  • to me this song is the definition of wistfulness

  • this is my most fave music instrumental of all (the other two are clubbed to death and velocity of love)! thanks for posting!

  • It has a great mood...No problem, relax, enjoy, we are friends, live now, be a child now again....it's great.

  • I've always thought that this instrumental would be perfect for a film's end title sequence.

  • @WookieeMonster

you're absolutely right! boy and girl driving convertible along beach much overexposed film as film credits roll down. thank you for such a lovely image!

  • Ech liebe dä song ! Musig ohni Wort bedütdet au das mer sech em Geischt cha verstloh. Ech weiss, dass die Meischte vo euch, mech ned verstönd. Worscht.

Means big love for al of us, smiling, thinking, realaxing !

  • This song, more than any other, shows the collective depth of soul in this band! Many artists write about love, the B52's live the love they sing about!

  • I think track was dedicated to Ricky. R.I.P

  • ..originally written at 2x speed, it was slowed down and left that way...truly cosmic..

  • I remember listenng to this with friends in a convertible Olds Cutlass driving to Cape Cod after school let out for the year. What a great start to summer!

  • @sadalite same here:) once you hear a song it just plays in your mind till you hear it again, then it's total bliss:)

  • Listening to this I somehow feel in love again...not sure with whom but I feel like I'm in love :)

  • its really odd, but once you hear a song you like, it can stay with you forever. All I could remember was that I heard this back in 1990 and I was unable to buy the album, being in the desert (military). So, I forgot all about until I hear "Love Shack" and remembered hearing an instrumental from the B-52's that I loved, so hear I am, listening to it after 20 years for the first time.

  • @sadalite It sounds morbid but what a good funeral song...the last hoorah....closing credits ) <3

  • I dislike all de the images on this clip, Impicture it so much more spiritual, but - it ois love we're talking about, anyway!

  • i like this, i agree on what John said...

  • And thanks for posting this up, love that Bert Weedon style guitar!

  • A great album closed by a great track. I love this!

  • Of course I love this song - because I looked for it to begin with. And I also enjoyed this ad for the Sierra Club.

  • I have ALWAYS loved this song! & The guitar work so reminds me of Dwayne Eddy...

  • i don't care for the b 52s but this is pretty awesome.

  • @AcTNBumpChannel Their song "Topaz" is very soothing too.

  • makes me want to go to a beach that is untouched. simple people, simple pleasures, cool music:)

  • i super love this particular music of b-52s! i don't get tired listening to it. i'd want this as background music on my honeymoon! LOL!

  • always loved this one, thanks for the vid!

  • fab!

  • I am so glad

    I have it on Disc!!!!

    Greetings from Germany

  • This is the best(and I think the only) instumentel The B-52's have done....It's kinda' hard to find this one,but I'm glad I did!!!!

  • Work that skirt was also instrumental...My favorite instrumental.

  • @ILoveB52s: Cosmic Thing is 1 of my Top 10 Deserted Island Disc...

  • @robynsegg Couldn't have said it better myself.

This song reminds me of a desperado out of the 23rd Century, don't know why. It's definitely a "road of life" type of song.

  • @KingRogan: I can't remember if I saw that but I feel ya! It does have this "lonesome west" kinda feel. When I hear this song it reminds me of those lazy, hazy, endless summer nights as the hot sun sets over the horizon... probably because I got it during that time. lol!

  • @robynsegg Agreed.
