my aunt works at the coulumbus zoo and she was one of the ones that helped deliver colo ive actully met him face to face hes really sweet i also fed one of the baby gorillas there

Hopefully Colo lives to see more of her descendants born. She'd lived through dark days in her youth, in dry hard cement floor, when zoos had no professional animal experts working with them. But as Jack Hanna said, since the late 1980s & 90s, most zoos that exhibit large, social animals adopted new & better programs for these majestic creatures. Colo is a tough, enduring, & heroic figure in the history of animal in captivity. She needs to be treated like a loyalty because she is!
